Favorites are alphabetized for easy access? Are you nuts? That's what letting US arrange them was for.

Adds please get them out of the emails, so hard to read an e-mail you have them everywere, whey should we pay for aol, and then have to see so many adds. 9.8 was easy on eyes, Gold makes me dissy. I miss the switch e-mail were you can see how many e-mails on other screen names. Also you have to confirm your name twice before you can enter password. I have not had time to try other things yet as was forced to swithch to Gold.

well i dont care about aim anyway.... well i dont like the fonts u have for the emails. i like to used my own. but i can not used them only when i make tags for ppl... i looking at the feedback of other saying and agree too it. but i will never like Aol gold... u took many things away. that ppl like to use... the favorites in albetical order does not bother me either....

1. New favorites is awful as I can not organize them to my preference. The older system was much better !!!!
2. Gold is SLOW !! SPEED IT UP!! Reminds me of the old dial up AOL in the past it is so slow
3. I do not like the new send mail, the way the addresses are auto populated and the overall look. Go back to what WE like and what WORKED
4. Why no allow usp to pick the version we like and use it, and not FORCE us to use Gold if we opt to stay with AOL

But yet they want feedback from us here... But every suggestion they are closed minded to it. Just NOT RIGHT! Should be about your customers wishes NOT what YOU want for us UGH I'm so upset about ready to bail on AOL and I've been with AOL since 1995. I would like to have: NO ads on the right hand side of the screen. (I PAY for the service and find the ads annoying and disconcerting)
More options for fonts... they are VERY limiited.
The "Stationery" feature back in the "write mail" feature.
More emoticons in the "Write mail" feature.
The type to keep up with my typing.
AOL Gold is a downgrade, not an upgrade!

I get a headache looking at the top tool bar and when I open my mail in box, I could easily see things in 9.82 much easier on the eyes. Also the adds, way to many flashing at us, it is so distracting when trying to read an e-mail we already pay, shouldnt have to constantly see adds, rediculous. Also when you enlarge an e-mail bounces back to small a lot. or enlarging the inbox to better see who mail is coming from it bounces back once you read an e-mail. The only thing I find better on Gold is browser seems to work better for opening e-mails, other than that give me the old 9.82

no background. if ppl are paying for aol they should not have to pay another $4.99 for it. took too many things out. i like my aol 9.,8.... u took the fonts out. i dont like the fonts that u have. i like the ones i can put in... when u send out email it wont go thru . then u have to sent it out again. and when u delete the other email get black screen. and this is on your hard drive aol gold. i dont care for that..u can not change another screen names either, u say that was going but i still have the old ones still on my sign in.... and u can not add either on screen names... i have a background on my computer and i can not change it. i dont like the background on my aol b/c u can not take it off to clear i am not the only one that dont like Aol gold.... .

So they refuse to change My Favorite Places back to the far better and more useful non-alphabetical version. Everyone hates the current version so it must be pure ego.

Stationery, Themes, Emoji's, Being able to use backgrounds...being able to right click and insert pictures...making links work..having the resize option the same as 9.8. The pictures are distorted in AOL Gold.

1. speed....Gold is way too slow. Speed it up!!!
2. allow me to organize favorites as I wish, and not mandate they be only in alphabetical order
3. fix the " save password" feature so that it actually works
4. return to older e-mail address auto prompt

UNFORTUNATELY THE FOLLOWING OCCURRED TODAY (1/23/2018). Here are seven (7) issues I was confronted with by your new AOL GOLD today.

1 ***TODAY - I was forced to download AOL GOLD and AOL 9.8 was blocked from using today - completely shut down 1.23.2018. It would NOT even let me send an email to myself NOR to a group of people I send out to daily (a very small bulk group).

2 ***AOL GOLD is way too slow.
3 ***There is a Mail Folder in My Mail Folders (under Saved on MY PC) called "Mail You've Sent" that collected emails that was previously sent for a number of years....THIS appeared upon downloading AOL GOLD today there were thousands of emails in this folder. It was painstaking to delete these one at a time. FYI: Due to a disability that I have; I can not do repetitive motion which will cause me to lose the use of my arms and hands. VERY UNFAIR TO ME AND IN VIOLATION OF THE AMERICA'S DISABILITY ACT.

4 ***ALSO: I delete many emails daily usually over 100 emails. To delete these I would go to "Recently Deleted Emails"....then, I'd go to Edit (top left), then - clicked select all and it would highlight all of them .....then, I clicked on delete. THIS DOESN'T WORK EITHER. I have to repeat this a second time in order to permanently delete these emails<~~~this function does not work any longer either and it's deleting my emails one at a time again. This again is repeating usage of my hands which I CAN NOT DO...it will cause me to lose the use of my arms and hands. You are doing harm to me.

5 *** When I click on anything it's takes way too long to open up or switch to.......Taking way too long.

6 ***IF YOU HAVE ALL THESE KINDS O BUGS why on earth did you force use to use AOL GOLD and also forced us to not to be able to enter our AOL 9.8 Version? WHY? You have discriminated against many people who are disabled which is against the law that is Federally Mandated.

7 ***I also do not wish to use mail.aol.com to access my email. WILL NOT USE IT.

What amazes me reading all these emails - and I have not found one that says they prefer gold over 9.8.2. - is what a loyal base you have had for 20 years - people have stayed with you because you had a system that worked. Why did you change it? Why couldn't you have updated it from time to time. But to force folk from one system they used and liked to another (which obviously they don't) was very, very wrong. Can you tell us the real reasons for this change?

HAVING PROBLEMS PUTTING PHTOS/PICTURES IN MY EMAIL - HAVE TO SEND MANY EMAILS TO GET THEM OUT - 25 MEGABYTES IS NOT ENOUGH MEMORY

I don't think I would ever pay for Gold but might consider paying for 9.8. to have my old life back. :)

The people who did Gold should look for another job
