    I know that the idea of Instant Messaging is out but it would be appreciated if our Buddy List could be returned with a sound. At least that would give members of a heads up that a friend or relative is online....... the way it is now we are all sitting in the dark!

    bring back the aol aim buddy, list its the only 1 thing you had that was a reason to even pay for or have aol, no one even uses aol anymore yet alone pays for it, the only reason alot did was because of aol aim chat and buddy list, with out it aol is a peace of **** and not worth having or paying for, you lost alot of people and you no it, and alot more will leave

    What was the purpose of disabling IMs? None. Now the entire chat community is deviant owned instead of allowing for more creative options. Huge disappointment.

    AOL has enabled deviants to take over the chat rooms because it's disable instant messaging.

    talking I/M was the main reason I got AOL gold. I ws told they might get it "down the road" still waiting

    I know this is a duplicate of others who have written.....if you will not find a new way of members having the ability of instant messaging why can't you at least bring back our Buddy List so we can at least see if a friend or relative is online!!!! Is it really that difficult???

    bring back I/M's it would be nice to be able to chat one on one again with my friends without a room full of jerks making comments.

    under 9.8 when you changed names it was easier to move between account names - they would appear as a list and we'd just click on the name - GOLD is to many steps and is very slow - how much longer before GOLD is fully workable? 9.8.1 was fantastic...

    I would like to have my buddy list back in the new AOL DESKTOP GOLD. For me to see the people who's online on my end. So I can Instant message them anytime.
