Why do I have to do 3 click operations to get the email screen larger? It's terrible! Make the margins and the ads smaller!
I appreciate your feedback on the ads. Please try these steps to improve your experience:
First, you can expand the mailbox window size by following the steps:
1. Drag one of the four corners of the mailbox window to your desired size and position.
2. In the top right corner of the AOL Desktop, click " Window" then choose " Save Window Size and Position" from the drop-down menu.
Secondly, you can hide the folders in the mailbox to have more space for the emails. To do this, click on “Hide Folder List” on the bottom left corner of the mailbox, or click on the arrows between the folder list and the email list and drag it towards the left side of the screen.

Having an ad on the righthand side of the e-mail window limits how wide I can make the usable area. I like to make that window as wide as possible so more of the sender's e-mail address, and more of the subject line is visible. Having the ad to the right limits my width. If the ad was at the bottom, it would limit the viewable width. I suggest moving the ad to the bottom.

Hi. When I open my mailbox, or an entry from the mailbox, and when I click 'write' to send an email, the ads are on the right side instead of being at the bottom. This is a true pain to me, because I can't read the screen as the ad covers a large part of it, so I have to drag the corners till I can read the screen in full. Thank you.
