I keep getting messages such as: "We are having difficulty retrieving your mail; try again in 5 minutes. Same for sending mail. Also for updating favorites. Tech has no answer for me. I am frustrated.
Try refreshing the mailbox. Click on the Mail option on the top of the desktop screen and select Refresh Mailbox from the drop-down menu.

TO READ AN EMAIL, IT TAKES ANOTHER 3 TO 4 MINUTES FOR THE PAGE TO OPEN UP!!
THESE FLAWS ARE UNACCEPTABLE!
I AM CONSIDERING DROPPING AOL IF THESE PROBLEMS ARE NOT CORRECTED BY THE END OF THE WEEK!!!! -

Mail doesn’t open instantly as it did in old version. It takes 14 seconds!!!
Frequently when I try to open my mail, there is a message that “a problem opening the mail has occurred. Wait 5 minutes and try again.” It never happened on the old version.
I'm trying to send attachments to a relative. Pictures are all in one folder, but I can't send the folder the way I did with the old version. Everytime I click on "Open" the way I did in the previous version, the folder opens showing the individual pictures, so only individual pictures can be sent.When I click on the “open” to attach picture, message says picture can’t be found. That is because the name of the previous picture is still in the file space. It has to be deleted before the name of the picture shown will appear in the file space so that it can be attached.

It never happened on the old version. Please remove the Gold until you make workable. At least give us the choice between Gold and old version!
