Is it really possible that you CANNOT WORK OFFLINE in Gold?
Is it really possible that Gold was released allowing that you MUST have an internet connection to view old Old/Sent/Draft e-mails that are supposedly "Saved On Your PC"?
Also, related, there was always the safety net before of being able to save the Organize Folder/Data (The entire PFC for each screen name). I am told by tech support this is not possible.
Though I think most of my other Gold issues are in other posts - There are so many that time prevents going though them all...Helllo AOL! - in synopsis: Previous 9.8 (Mail Waiting To Be Sent (Drafts) do not transfer to Gold; Double clicking required for many items in an increasingly single click world; Inability to Resize embedded pictures; Inability to set up "Confirm Delete" as an option to prevent deletion mistakes in Drafts; Double sending of e-mails; Double saving of drafts; Not all Sent remains visible; More "Sorry" messages than I can count in a given day when trying to save Draft or Send E-mail.
Customer since 1995, and now spending $21.99/mo for this ($26.98 with System Mechanic, which wasn't needed for 9.8 but seems to somehow be a requirement now)....not for long without an acknowledgement from AOL of this Gold mistake and plan to recover.
Thank you for your feedback, will send it over to the AOL Gold desktop team, making sure the features you mentioned become a priority and will be added in the future releases. Currently, we don’t have an estimated time frame, but we hope the majority of the features our members are asking for will be implemented soon.

This and about a dozen other stupid features that were removed to make things faster and more efficient. Added to this, many features just plain don't work sometimes. Amazingly stupid. How do the AOL techs keep their jobs? They must really have the Management and administrators hood-winked, at our expense.

It would be much handier to use AOL if my address list were stored on my computer. It is too time consuming to write a message in some other application, then when I'm online, cut and paste it into AOL. Please modify your program so that addresses are also stored on my computer.

With your AOL Gold, you can't read email, saved to my pc, without signing in. With 9.8 version I could. Please bring this feature back or bring back your 9.8. Better yet, just bring back your 9.8 version.
