AOL Gold Support via Phone - Not Efficient

AOL states if you have an AOL Gold question to call 1-888-265-3733.
When I call 1-888-265-3733 for tech support, I usually wait some time before I am connected. I understand that there are busy times. But the problem is when I do get connected and have a tech issue, I am then forwarded to another number and have to wait AGAIN to be connected.
If I call 1-800-827-6364 the first person answering my call IS a tech person and I am not transferred to another department.
The AOL Gold number is a waste of time.

I tried to update my credit card info on line but system won't open. I have now been on hold with customer service for over a hour. I think you have just surpassed Comcast as the worst company in America.

When you sit on hold for more than an hour to get tech support its unacceptable. The big wigs in aol knew there would be huge numbers of calls for tech support and as usual, aol lets us down. Its outrageous to have to wait for more than an hour to get help. You totally broke a program that wasn't perfect but was good to begin with. Unacceptable to pay for a service that is more of a blood pressure elevator than it is fun to work with.
