Welcome page stories
The stories on the welcome page are a joke!! Headline "#1 food you should never eat at a barbecue" I clicked on it and it shows a video on how to make a dessert out of pound cake???? This happens all the time they post a story line to suck you in and when you click on it it NEVER is about the headline !!! Its totally deceptive and full of propaganda !!

The new part headline "only" with no usual follow info, is a flop that only a new manager would offer as a way to save time & money. It will, but also it will anger & lose customers! You run a service business, not a railroad. So, the idea is to provide service, not take it away! Put back the old & even expand the extra add on notes. "Please or Else".

I understand that you have ended up with what used to be the Huffington Post, and that they provide the news items for your Welcome Page. Since journalism was part of my academic training, it's been obvious for some time now that too often AOL's "news" presentations fail to report the traditional "5 W's" and are obviously catering to one particular ideological viewpoint. I've spoken to others for whom that issue proved to be the proverbial "straw" to cause them to drop their AOL service. And that's becoming a consideration for me, as well.

Ya I agree and also I am sick of seeing when you click on a Welcome Screen article, you get there and have that next page to see more and next page again. After the first next page, I close it. Sick of all that **** to read an article and only see ads, ads, ads, and ads.
What the **** ???? We are paying for AOL now aren't we ????????????? Should be no ads.
