When I want to check the STATUS of an email I've sent, I get an error message saying"Currently Unavaiuilable". WHY?

    I am lost without this feature. It was one of the reasons I've stayed with AOL since the late 90's. Everything good has been taken away, nothing functions, and we have to pay for all of this??

    Hi Team,

    I used to be able to check the status of the emails I send out, when I send emails to another AOL member I used to be able to check if the message was received or read. I seem to not be able to that now as the option is missing.

    I was informed by your rep that submitting this feedback would hopefully get it functioning again. It might just be considered minor but I find it a very important and useful feature.

    I have been with AOL a long time and I would hate to consider having to move to a different provider due to this.

    Thank you in advance if you can get this back on the next update..

    I am Quite Upset that I was Told Over and Over that in The Sent Mail .... it Had a Feature That Said STATUS..... I Was Told By Many AOL Technicians it Will Be Back .... Where is it .... I Pay Each Month and You Keep Taking Away Features and Telling Me and Others That They Will Be Back !!! When ..... Please Advise!!
    Fed Up ... And I have Been a Member for Over 30 Years!!
    I Ran Two Business's and I'd Fire Whoever Came Up with This Idea and I'd Appreciate a ACTUAL ANSWER to My Question!! I Have Soke to Technician after Technician and They All Said .... It Will JUST RE-APPEAR ONE DAY in The Next Few Weeks... So Far.... It's Not Re-Appeared!!

    Please bring back the Buddy List. And please bring back for aol users to check STATUS from the sent items to see if an aol person received your email or if it has been read. The feature is no longer available on the AOL Desktop GOLD Revision 11.0.2024. Please do not take any more items from aol......The fun and easy way to use it has been taken by AOL over the past several years. It is no longer fun to use and it is very frustrating to customers to have all the nice things one by one being removed that were reasons to begin with people loved AOL. AOL keeps changing ...but not for the better...the worse.

    Please re-instate the 'STATUS" feature in Write Mail. Can no longer check if another AOL user has rec'd mail. Mentioned this problem a while ago, but still have not rec'd a reply from AOL.. AOL Gold is a very "user unfriendly" software program.
    So many good features that made AOL a great software to use are no longer available to your loyal customers..

    I have been a paying aol customer for many years. Just recently, I noticed the "status" feature regarding sent emails is not working. This feature is very important to me. Please reinstate the "status" feature. One of the main reasons I have remained being a loyal paying customer is because of the "status" feature. Not happy at all.

    In the past, as recently as a couple days ago, we have been able to check the status of emails sent, suddenly the status button is gone. Where is it being hidden now? Its the only way I can confirm that mail has been received since sending and receiving is so unreliable these days. It seems that there is just more aggravation every day with this ****** version of aol.

    Reinstate the STATUS of Sent emails on AOL Gold. Why take it away from us? We are paying for it.

    Please put status back on mail sent to friends. You told me it was no longer available...but I see some friends it shows the status and others it says currently unavailable....MAKE STATUS AVAILABLE FOR ALL FRIENDS...PLEASE

    What happened to the "status" feature on AOL sent mail. We can no longer check to see if another aol recipient rec'd our mail. What happened and why did you eliminate this feature? Please reply.

    Put mail status back. I need to make sure my members have read the new update and now I can't do that.
