When I want to check the STATUS of an email I've sent, I get an error message saying"Currently Unavaiuilable". WHY?

I noticed my AOL desktop gold does not allow me to check the status of an email I send to another AOL user. I was always able to check the status to see if an email has been read or not yet read. Now all I can see when I click on the "status" button for an email is "currently unavailable". This does me no good because I don't know if the person I sent the email to who is another AOL has read or not read my email. It also doesn't let me know for sure that the person even received my email. I don't know why this feature as I am told by an AOL supervisor has been discontinued and I'm very unhappy as a long time AOL user. Please contact me as soon as possible with an answer to this question.

As of 9/1/18 PM I still have my status button. If it is taken away I will leave AOL right away. Too many things have been taken away already and nothing works. I use the status button all day long and there is no reason to stay with AOL if it is removed.

Put BACK the STATUS feature. It was one of the only reasons left to PAY for and stay with the eviscerated "service' of AOL and it just disappeared in the night last night. No warning. You took away our ability to see if friends were online with us with the Buddy List. You have such clutter on each page it is hard to read. Ads EVERYWHERE even though we pay for this service. You have almost no fonts to choose from. A weak and terrible browser. Terrible ability to include pictures. One of the few reasons to stay was to be able to see if and when our AOL friends actually found and read our mail, so we could continue with ideas exchanged, or if we had to pick up from some other place in order to continue a conversation. It was a place where friends MATTERED. As of today, magically, it is gone. Tech support says it has always been gone with Gold, but that is not true until today. Tell me, just WHAT does AOL offer now that any other FREE email does not?????? The new name, 'OATH' really fits, because I've been screaming them ever since you got rid of 9.8.2 and put up the wretched Gold. I've been told the 'back office' is paying attention to Feedback and working on making Gold better. Hah! They must be the same idiots that thought the new one was better than the old in the first place. You must be losing business like crazy. I could not be more dissatisfied. PUT BACK STATUS!!!!!!!!!!!

I am able to get the Status option for my master account on ADG but not on different sub-username. ADG is recently installed together with the new update. I would like to get the "Status" option on Sent folder in mailbox in ADG.

if theres a way that we can change setting of the email were status will show if recipient read it already..

Sent an email to another aol user and now cannot see if it was read or not. What gives?

Used to be able to check sent email status.....now all it says is
(currently unavailable) WHY? what does that mean? what happened to (not yet read) ~ deleted ~ or read and date???
It's a simple thing but as per par......changes with this new program make things worse!
