It's much more than browsing help that I am contacting you about.
1. Browsing doesn't connect most of the time.
2. Your main page doesn’t even load at times.
3. The stories don’t always match the story on the main page.
4. Email loads slowly or not at all. Many times I get a message to try again in five minutes because AOL cannot access your email.
5. When I go to any Web Site, that site’s web page is automatically added to my Address Book.
6. Some setting in email do not actually work at all, such as the font settings.
7. Chat Rooms are really a mess…
A. They don’t even load the Chat Room Listings a lot of the time.
B. If I can even get into a Chat Room, I can type something but can’t send it.
C. The font setting keeps changing all the time.
D. You don’t allow a room owner, so you can’t boot out any undesirable person(s).
E. I turn-on the notice of who enters and leaves. It shows in the Chat Room who comes and goes, but most of the time it shows people leaving when they are actually still on the Who’s Chatting list.
F. When I sign-on to AOL, everything else on my computer runs slower or not at all.
G. You no longer have Profiles, Buddy Lists nor do you have Instant Messages. These are downgrades, certainly not upgrades.
8. At times, AOL just shuts off.
9. At times AOL freezes up and I have to try to close it and start over.
10. I know you have made a couple of improvements since switching to AOL Gold, such as the Icons to use in the Carousel.
11. Too bad. AOL use to be a great Internet service, now it is near or at the bottom of the Internet services.
12. And here is another that just happened: I typed out all the above and clicked on Chat Now and all I received was a message saying, “Your Chat Session Is cancelled because there are no Agents available”.
The AOL Desktop Gold recently received a new update to address several performance issues. To make sure that you have this new update installed, click on the Help button on the top right, and select “About AOL” from the drop-down menu. In case your revision number is lower than 11.0.2007, click on the Help button again and select “Check for updates”, and leave the software open for 10-15 minutes then close and re-open it (in order for the update to be installed in the background).
If you already have the latest revision and are still experiencing performance issues, please send us a crash report in order for our engineers to further investigate the issue. To do that, follow these steps:
1. Open AOL Desktop Gold.
2. Click on Help on the top right, and select Report a Bug from the drop-down menu.
3. Type a short description of the problem, and click Send.

I agree with every single thing in here because I am experiencing all of this plus more. I've had AOL Gold since November 1997 -- almost a year -- and none of these things have been fixed plus there is even more wrong now than there was at the beginning.
