Folks - I have complained to you about Desktop Gold since the day I "upgraded" to it. Multiple times. And every single time I've pointed out very specific issues, problems, with Desktop Gold. So have THOUSANDS of others. Yet you do absolutely nothing. How many times do people have to tell you that 9.8.2 was FAR superior to Desktop Gold before you get it? And you often answer, on this page, that the newest Desktop Gold update has the problem fixed...
Oh really? Well, I have the latest Desktop Gold upgrade (Revision 11.0.2084), and the service is the worst I've ever experienced in over twenty years on AOL!!! I've NEVER previously had so many problems with web pages taking forever to load, FREQUENT (more than six or seven times per day) freezing of the entire page, emails opening empty, then taking up to sixty seconds or more to fill in with the actual email content, etc.
What the **** are you folks doing about all this? Why on earth should we stay as loyal to AOL as we have for so many years if you folks do absolutely nothing to fix the very real problems with your horrendous Desktop Gold "upgrade" (downgrade is a far more accurate description)? And in all previous upgrades, you never shoved the upgrade down our throats. Now, in a purely sleazy business move (to be able to charge the extra cost for Desktop Gold to most users), you have forced us all to accept this horrible Desktop Gold!!!
What will it take for you jerks to admit that this upgrade is an abject failure, and to just give us back our beloved 9.8.2? How many THOUSANDS of your stupidly loyal members have to beg you to allow us to return to 9.8.2 before you actually do it?
Most importantly - when will you finally fire the absolutely incompetent and irresponsible software developers that came up with this gross failure of an upgrade and give us back 9.8.2, the single best version in AOL history?
WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE? IS ANYONE LISTENING TO US AT ALL???
