Billing Snafu
Out of nowhere, I am told I must update my payment information. I was threatened with termination of my service if I did not update the payment method. When I called, I was told it was an issue between AOL and a credit card company.
My payment method has not changed. With all the threats of theft of financial information, I was not comfortable having to input the information. When I finally did, the screen presented was so faint that I had a hard time finding where to input what, and the field for the security code from the credit card was difficult to identify.
I don't understand why you could not send a message explaining the reason for this. I do understand needing to update the information if the current credit card has expired, but that was not the case here.
Very disconcerting, scary, and NOT good customer service!!!
Please call the billing department at 1-800-827-6364 so one of our technical support agents investigate.
