A solution to the lastest version of aol desktop gold
I don't think that the problem has been fixed, but my solution for everyone is once you have aol desktop gold open and running, wait it out a good ten minutes. I did this and no problems at all what so ever.
It seems that if you interupt aol desktop gold before it's fully done, it'll crash on you.
