blinking ads
The blinking/flashing ads designed to get people to notice them have caused my neighbor's son to be hospitalized. He has the type of epilepsy that is adversely affected by that kind of thing. She has consulted with an attorney to see if it's possible to sue AOL and he thinks there's merit in such a lawsuit. He's currently investigating the possibility of a class action suit but has already filed in her behalf.

I cannot tell you strongly enough how I HATE that you are adding more ads to main page. Disgusting that we have to be surrounded by ads everywhere. Pay enough that I should not be bombarded more and more. Makes me sick.

I am getting vulgar and inappropriate advertisements including ads that show women in provocative clothing and poses and also dating websites. I do not want to pay almost $500 a year for the AOL Desktop Gold version that eliminates the ads. If these ads do not stop, I will stop using AOL Desktop Gold for my email. I will use the website version of AOL which does not show these vulgar ads.
