RETHINK "NEW" BROWSER FUNCTIONALITY/FEATURE RE. FALSE HISTORY
Desktop Gold Team responded to my issue: Browser/address bar down arrow shows "Search" of sites I NEVER/WOULD search. Told it's a 'new functionality' just released--recent history will show 'the top trending searches from AOL search'--how many searches to an Indiana Funeral Home could warrant it listed in 'top trending searches?' Said 'This is a common feature that all mainstream browsers do.' Really? Why doesn't Microsoft Edge or Google do that--not "mainstream." browsers'? This "feature" could result in someone becoming a suspect in a Crime Investigation or a child/wife/husband wrongly accused of (whatever) because AOL has a "new functionality" that shows on their computer as THEIR search!! Is it because AOL is now using the "mainstream" Yahoo??? Whoever came up with/approved this should go back to the drawing board and consider possible ramifications as a result of it's showing false info on people's computers, all unnecessary, irritable, and dangerous info, to put it mildly.
