    It seems that the news section on the AOL home page when using the AOL browser can look like the home page when using other browsers. Why is it different?

    When I use the AOL Desktop Gold browser to enter AOL, the news section on the home page has been changed recently. The new format is very awkward to use. It takes too much time to go back and forth to understand the entire headline. When I enter AOL using other browsers, the format is like much better...like it used to be with the AOL browser. Please get the format back to the more useful style using the AOL browser. Thanks...Lindy

    Hate, hate, hate the new AOL. Give me my "Dust Bunnies" & old AOL back. Your demographic is older & we hate "Upgrade Improvements" & changes. Stop trying to teach old (happy) dogs new tricks.

    I REALLY liked the old format that you had in classic Aol. If you really want a new Aol, allow us to have more of a theme at the top of the page. Improve on the Contacts and Folders. But still keep it Classic. You took us away from the wonderful stationery we had, in its wonderful format. The "new Aol" is too much like Yahoo.

    I DID NOT OPT IN FOR THIS. I FIND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE (CANNOT ADD, DELETE OR EDIT CONTACTS FOR ONE)

    I agree. After decades of AOL, it may well be time to switch to a new service without the monthly fee.

    I got it to lay out much like the old one but here are the first things I noticed that irritate me.

    1) On the top it says TODAY. I know it's today. Every day is today. If it's new news on top, why do I need to know it is TODAY. That's not SO bad, but 5 blank lines under it!!! In that space i could have 5 email previews! TAKE IT AWAY!

    2) no good email popup... Previously I could open a mail in a new compose window. I OFTEN need to look at other emails while I'm composing an email. This on pops up on top of the other and is well, almost worthless... I cannot see and edit at the same time. It pops down if I look at other email. Are you trying to mimic pathetic gmail?

    I also would like a darker font. Gray on gray is ridiculous. Early days of the web it was considered important that people could actually read it. Usability has been lost...

    HOW DO I GO BACK TO THE OLD VERSION OF AOL. I HATE THE NEW VERSION BECAUSE I CAN'T DO ANYTHING. EVERYTIME I TRY TO READ, FORWARD, DELETE OR MOVE, I GET A POPUP THAT SAYS WAIT AND THEN I CRASHES. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

    PLEASE???? This SUCKS!! I have been using AOL since the mid 90s, but I have had it. I'm switching to Gmail.
