Opting out of Unwanted Ads
Nothing is more depressing that having animal cruelty ads posted on the welcome tab. There should be a way of deleting these ads. Since I am paying for AOL Desktop Gold and other AOL additional services,. I should be permitted to opt out.

I spoke to an AOL technician about this issue but was told to subscribe to an AOL add on for a cost of $19 a month. Not the answer i was looking for
