AOL adding an unremoveable header/footer to a composed body email during printing!
How to delete auto-printing of Date, Subject, To and From when printing emails! I have copied and pasted into a blank composed email for 30 years. NEVER have these AOL auto headers/footers appeared until last week! In print preview, I've always turned off headers/footers and I would be able to print just the body of the email I composed. I still turn those printers options off but now AOL has attached these titles (Subject, Date, To and From) when I'm simply printing an email that I'm not even sending to anyone! My AOL address is autoprinting at the top of the page along with the other words I've listed above. This has nothing to do with my home printer settings. This is AOL. Just started last week and I need to remedy this, please!

I've been an AOL member from it's beginning. I'm one of the pioneers and have NEVER dealt with this issue either. IT SUCKS!!! There was a way to turn it off, but after 35-40 years, I can't remember how it was done. Never had an issue until it came under new ownership. Big company like this and they can't implement a simple fix to satisfy loyal customers. That's pretty sad. Back in those days, AOL's help team was more then willing to help their customers and happy to do it too. Consult a computer geek!! This header isn't something MOST people wish to have on their personal correspondence. It would be so appreciated if someone could correct this simple issue. Thanks

solution HIT ENTER BAR 55 TIMES TO SPACE DOWN ON BLANK WRITE STATEMENT--- THEN ADD ITEM TO BE COPIED AT 56 . USE OLD FIRST SHEET OF PAPER WHERE SUBJECT DATE WILL PRINT ON ONLY.USE THIS PAPER AGAIN AND AGAIN.. ON NEXT PAGE WILL PRINT WITH OUT SUBJECT DATE--- JUST YOUR COPY. EXPERIMENT FIRST..MAKE YOUR OWN ADJUSTMENTS......

Let me just add the response I got from AOL support on this matter. Apparently customers who want it, get it. Customers who don't want it, still get it. How can there NOT be a way to click "on or off" prior to printing! Ridiculous!
"We got a number of users requesting that printing of the compose mail form also include the header information, so we made the change to include it."
