The AOL desktop background is inserted huge, larger than the original size
A while ago, I reported twice that the background we choose from our device to use on AOL Desktop doesn’t display at a normal size; the images I use appear huge. It wasn’t like this before, every time they make changes, it gets worse. I didn’t even want to keep insisting about the huge backgrounds—they ignored me. I think AOL doesn’t have someone professional to make these changes. Little by little, AOL’s prestige is going down; it’s not and will not be what it used to be.

Since Desktop Gold does offer personalization options for background images in settings, including selecting pictures from your device, it does seem worth checking those controls to see if anything there affects scaling. If the image still appears oversized, it might be something the development team needs to look into further. Providing clear examples of what you’re seeing and any steps to reproduce the behavior can help the team investigate and improve this aspect of the experience.
