Tech Support
Called tech support yesterday to report problem of not being able to select Icons to go on the toolbar--only can ue a heart.
The tech did not know of the problem even though many, many people have complained about it. I foolishly let him have control of my computer and he promptly screwed up(deleted several) the entries I had on my tool bar. He asked if I had a tape backup of my system at which time I ended the session. Pls hire competent people.
I am now in the process of adding back all the entries he deleted even…

AOL Web browser
Web links in email ONLY open in AOL Gold browser. I want them top open in Google Chrome. My windows default is Google Chrome, I am sure of it 100%. Example: If I get an email with a link for cnn.com, when I clcik it, it opens in teh AOL Web browser. I don't want that. The AOL Browser is quite a bit weaker than other commercial browsers. How can I stop that from happening? One of your techs on chant told me I was stuck with it. Is that true (The he tried to sell me your new help…

Chat Help service 'closed'
More than 2 months ago, I reported this and it's still not fixed:
Go to Help/Chat -- and sign in with name/ID/etc. and wait . . . . and wait . . . . and then msg comes back: "Your chat request has been canceled because no agents are available." THIS SHOULD BE UP FRONT, NOT AFTER YOU'VE INPUT INFO AND WAITED!!!

OK. So OATH bought you out.
Since OATH bought you, new terms and agreement popped up on sign in. OK. After agreeing to terms, why does it keep popping up every time you go to sign in? Once should be enough. Petty, I know, but irritating. Just like the three step process to sign in. No wonder people keep leaving this service. I'm darn close to it.

....THE REALLY SAD THING IS THAT THE AOL TECHS DON'T REALLY SEEM TO GIVE A ****. THEY ARE MOSTLY YES MEN WHO JUST WANT TO KEEP RECEIVING A PAYCHECK. SORRY, BUT THAT IS WHAT IT APPEARS TO BE. IF i'M WRONG, THEN WHY DON'T THEY FIX THE HUGE PROBLEMS WHICH HAVE EXISTED SINCE THE "OATH" TAKE-OVER?

Text selection malfunction and more...
Unable to select text in emails or in Calendar - usually have to make that effort many times for it to work. Same with closing (X-out) -- takes several tries to get that done as well. SOMEtimes it'll work 1st time but not typically...
Reported to tech 2x. Today 'Bon' reinstalled from 15xx(?) to 1066 -- still no change for this very irritating problem.

WHEN are you going to bring the program back to ANY version of the old AOL, and enable re-sizing and uploading of large (.jpg, typically) files via Windows File Explorer (Send To>Mail Recipient>[Select small/med/large/Original size]>Send/Attach… -
AOL tech NON support
turned on my computer , found that ALL AOL components had disappeared - tech support told me to reload it - downloads would not go thru - 2+ hours + 4 techs later [ 3 i totally incompetent ] had me try the download repeatedly - nothing helped - told me that i had to use chrome as my browser ! - finally learned that it was a problem with AOL update thru short call to MS tech support !!! - another nail in AOL's coffin - over 40 hrs. with tech support in 1 year without any resolutions to…
