to think that this forum , tech support , report a bug ,or anything else related to AOL is going to do anything for the long time loyal subscribers with all the ongoing , numerous GOLD problems - they are showing a disrespectful , do nothing approach to the problems they have willfully created for their users - been months now + nothing positive has been done -

member having problem editing message to the aol desktop gold
member having problem editing message to the aol desktop gold applicatio. everytime member copy text thru microsoft word and paste it to the aol desktop gold body it is not letting the member edit the format of the text and spaces are not manageable to the way the member want it to be. it is much better for the application to show more professional messages especially when sending it to the clients.

Unable to permanently set my Mail and Address Book size on same screen as in old version.
Bring back feature enabling users to permanently set the Mail Page & Address Book on same screen as in previous version. Currently a time waster to have to adjust Mail Page size and then click to bring up Address Book each time PC is re-booted. Also, Address Book can only be adjusted to a certain size unlike the old version which did not cause the Address Book to infringe on my mail page. Currently an ad appears on my mail page where I want my address book to appear.

Make changing the size at the top of the window easily changed. It's too big and makes the page too small to play games without minimizing them. Won't open for me to change.

if I keep hollering about those damned BIG video ads in the bottom right corner, someone will get a clue and knock them off. I shut one down and the **** thing comes right back again. Does anyone even pay attention to feedback? Rather than read some material, I'll just quit and do something else. Maybe it is time to ditch AOL.

4 + HOURS THIS MORNING TO SIGN ON TO GOLD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
either screen does not load or does not respond - sometime get error message 118 , sometimes instantly get message connection is timed out , sometimes get message that my account can not be retrieved - for over a month it has taken multiple attempts to sign on - reported on report a bug daily for weeks ! - the problem is with AOL , not my equipment - DO not ask me to call your incompetent , useless tech support , it is futile + i am frustrated enough with GOLD -

Please stop trying to sell me AOL Antivirus software and Computer Checkup each time I call in for Technical Assistance
It seems that every time I call for Technical help, just before the Tech signs off, they try to sell me an AOL Software package. I don't appreciate this pressure when I am already paying a subscription fee, and I already have AOL Antivirus software.

I keep waiting for this amazing "GOLD" to be the solution to everything and have been patient ... yet, it's taking forever and is very unsatisfying. the LATEST has been any emojis or emoticons in emails i receive are merely letters - i.e., - \uD83D\uDE18\uD83E\uDD17 - what is THAT? then sometimes my emails freeze while i'm composing and go black. and i have to control/alt/delete to get things to start up again. i'd like to be able to COMPRESS my mail again. Excel table lines are no longer preserved, along with other formatting.
The former AOL Desktop products maintained Excel table lines and other formatting. Email is not tweeting, with short blurbs of mere text. Excel is a standard format around the world so I don't appreciate Gold not maintaining the former standard of AOL Desktop. This is very crude and compares to some very early browser from the 1980's in not being able to preserve the formatting from an Excel table.
