  2. LEAVE MY ADDRESS BOOK ALONE!!! IT IS TAKING ME HOURS TO FIX IT EACH TIME I USE IT.

    Get rid of your idiot address book worker. Every time they mess with it, they destroy my organization. I use my addresses in a professional business way....with your screwups I am not able to maintain the groups I need to have. I have spent hours and hours almost daily fixing my groups that I have had together before. LEAVE MY ADDRESS BOOK ALONE!!!!!! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOUR ****!!!

  3. AOL Reading & Writing our DB folder every time we start AOL software

    This file:
    "User ID.sqlite.backup-journal" in the AOL Desktop Data DB Folder killing our hard drive by reading and writing for 20 minutes every time we start the AOL software.
    Would you please find the solution to stop this annoying file from doing the above and killing our hard drive every time we start AOL.

  5. Search mail problem - Why have you closed this post??

    You gave instruction on how to search for email and closed the post. I know how to search for email. My problem is that when I search by email or entire email nothing on AOL comes up. See post below:

    Have mentioned this several times but still no fix. When searching mail by email in order to delete old mail, only mail in my PFC shows up even though there are many on AOL. Please fix this. I use this function almost daily to clean out the mailboxes.

    I have made at least eight attempts to change my font and point to a different choice. It keeps going back to a default setting. Does anyone know how to make the new choice "stick"?

    To resolve the slowness and performance issues, please try the troubleshooting solutions below:

    1. Clear the Footprints in the new AOL Desktop. Here’s how you clear the Footprints: a. In the top left corner of the AOL Desktop window, click “Edit” then choose “Select Footprints to Clear” from the drop-down menu. b. Select “Clear Footprints” from the Browser Settings. No need to wait for a confirmation message, the Footprints will be cleared immediately.

    2. Restart the computer. This helps clear the internal memory (RAM), which often resolves many issues. This article provides the steps to restart the PC: https://help.aol.com/articles/restart-the-computer

    3. Enable only the essential startup programs. Multiple programs may have been set to start automatically when a computer is turned on. These programs may cause the computer to slow down, and affect other running applications.   11. You keep messing up the email process. I just wrote a fairly length email with a picture added and when I clicked on send, it hung up, neve

    Fix the email problems. I sent a email with picture included and when I clicked send, it hung and went no where. Didn't find it in my waiting to be sent, or any mail at all that I had just sent (tried to send).

  17. I can't do it any more!

    I was TRYING to read BuzzFeed, and behold those fu--ing videos kept invading the screen on the lower left. Is that really necessary? I "X" it out, and the **** things keep coming back. I am NOT going to put up with it. I'll just forego reading the rest of the material. AOL has gone to **** in a handbasket the last few years. Maybe it is time to find a new provider.

I can close it out, and then proceed to use my AOL Gold but next time I sign on the same write mail screen appears. This has been doing on for at least two weeks now and it is a nuisance. How can I permanently get rid of this problem at sign on? (I just downloaded the Windows 10 update hoping that might fix this problem, but it made no difference)

    SERIOUSLY what an awful mess you have created with "GOLD"? IF I see one more time "NOT RESPONDING" I will scream. I try to read a story and when I click close I lose the WHOLE Welcome Screen (I'm sure this is ALL part of your NEW and IMPROVED AOL) I've been with you guys for a long time but I'm thinking it's not going to be much longer with this **** that you have now presented us with. Just cut your losses and go back to the last version.THIS is NOT worth my money and it makes me sad…
