2. Unbelievable how you give nonsense replies and then close postings

   I said I am getting broken images in order confirmations for things I buy online. Your reply was "Please make sure you have the “Hide images and disable links in mail from unknown senders” setting unchecked. You can find the setting in Mail—>Mail Settings—>Mail section.... and then you closed my post so I could not reply.

   OF COURSE I do not have disable links and images from unknown senders checked off. I get emails daily from strangers with images in them that are fine. WHY DIDN'T YOU WAIT FOR MY REPLY BEFORE CLOSING MY POST?? There is no help here. All we get are insinuations that the problems are our fault. I am so sick and tired of this and this kind of reply is the norm from AOL.

3. when I have read mail open the loading of what every never stops it continues to make a sound have you had this problem reported before

   I would say look into the loading sound and have it stopped it would drive one crazy I would just like to know why it continue loading for hours

Only sometimes they are sent but always says mailer-demon not sent anyway, etc. My suggestion is to dump old aol and go to gmail, free, no spam, fast, no internet net neutrality limits like aol must be doing. Superspyware of aol creats conflicts and more problems.

6. Got booted and Can't Sign On Again

   Alright AOL.......I was working online and got booted. Tried to sign on again and program refused to open...under any of my s/n!!!! Never had this problem before......this just adds to the long list of things I hate about this new program.....it has so many errors and faults..... Did I mention that I am a paying user???? Sure wish you would find someone to fix it and add back the many things you took away from the members!!!

9. AOL Gold is Awful!

   I have been using Gold for a while now because we don't have any choice in the matter. It is terrible. Email is a constant headache.
   Writing an email is beyond bad as it wants to throw in spaces where they don't belong and it does not allow you to respond to sections of an email with your own font. It just does what the heck it wants whenever it wants. Also, the desktop shortcut has disappeared several times. I cannot believe how bad this is. Please, AOL, fix the problems with 9.8.2 that were never fixed and bring it back.

11. FIX IT!

    There I am already signed on using gold when all of a sudden I hear, "Goodbye", and the message "Error retrieving Account Info Please Try Again." pops up! You had my account information that's why i was signed on...how the .............did you lose and kick me off? I know, I know, you'll merge this with other stuff. instead of doing that all the time, try fixing why it happens and when you do fix something,, yea right, how about you let us know if that isn't too much trouble. $17+ a month for aggravation! Going to stop very shortly and save quite a bit of money.

12. Pictures not posting..

    Are you kidding me!!! For the past several day when I go to post a picture on facebook I get this error message!

14. Six major issues still with AOL Gold, despite them being reported to Tech Support.

    AOL Desktop Gold still has major bugs after one month since its mandated use on January 14, 2018:

    1. Drafts are frequently not being saved despite hitting the "Send Later" button. Five minutes later, an error message appears saying that AOL mail is unavailable at this time and to try again in five minutes. The original draft has been "Pended" on the screen and displays either where it sat the whole time or it's placed behind the open Mail window.

    The only workaround solution is to try to save the draft another way when hitting the "X" (top right of draft) and then "yes" for the "Save changes" prompt so that the draft gets saved after having already tried with the "Send Later" button (often many times).

    1. Drafts are sometimes still "doubling up" -- being replicated so that two copies appear in the draft folder instead of one when "Sending Later." This is annoying and time-consuming to figure out if they're duplicates or not, and if one can be deleted.

    2. Drag and drop emails into folders is faulty at best. I just dragged the same e-mail five times into a folder, and it still hasn't been moved there yet.

    3. To drag and drop an e-mail from any folder is like "trying to hit a moving target" because of the slider underneath the Mail Folder box on the left side of the screen. The slider automatically moves the folder title to the right (toward the end of the words) instead of staying stationary. This makes dragging and dropping a very difficult situation.  The former AOL version had no slider there.  A slider at the bottom is not needed since the folder window can be widened using the triangular arrow on the right side of the window before the e-mail names.

    4. Ads on the right are a visual nightmare since the eye naturally moves to the right. In the previous version of AOL, the ads were underneath so as not to distract one's view of the printed words. For business customers, the new location is not acceptable.  Move the ads back to beneath the text.

    The workaround solution is to enlarge one's Mailbox window to the entire screen and move the ad to the right so it is not viewable. We shouldn't have ads at all since we're paying for AOL. Class action lawsuit?

    1. I've phoned in to the AOL Tech reps all these problems one month ago and many times too, and nothing was done to rectify them.  Why weren't my comments addressed after the Technical Support reps escalated the issues?  We shouldn't have to write Feedback in addition to the Tech reps.
