lastpass
If you use Lastpass as your password manager, you need to leave AOL and open another browser, like Chrome, to log on to another account.
It would be good to have a Lastpass extension for the AOL browser.

Bring back feature to automatically start AOL when it crashes
There was a box to check in 9.8 if you wanted AOL to automatically restart after a crash.

Word processor in composing email is horrible! When I try to paste from a word document it does not retain the original formating and font.
I hate this feedback area too. It is too hard to type without fighting your system. I cannot paste from a document into an aol email that I am composing without losing the formatting and font. There is no option to retain formatting from originating document. But it was automatic under your old version. You are getting worse and not better with this new version. I may have to make the switch to gmail and drop you is you do not improve.

censorship in chatrooms
Please explain your rationale (if any) for chatroom censorship.
You cannot type the name of N. Korea's President, or the title of Cher's 1971 hit "Gypsys, Tramps and Thieves". You can't mention how many puppies were born in a litter. You cannot type the name of the star of the **** Van Dyke Show.
There are dozens of other things where one gets the "violates our standards" message, many times for utterly innocuous things.

Search mail feature!
When I search for a particular email address, I want mail "from that one person". I now get ALL the emails that this person was included in, such as in 'group' emails, like my Lions club. Some of those people also send me "personal" emails and I want to be able to search for the one particular email from that one particular person. This is how this "search" used to work and how it SHOULD work. Please switch this feature back to how it was...it is driving me crazy!

write mail
It would be convenient when a user has multiple accounts /user names if the "write mail" screen would display the user name currently logged in. Example:
"Write mail from User1234" -

e-mail header and footer printing
Appears new AOL Gold update now prints a header (ie date and subject) and a footer (ie mailbox and page) when you print an email and the only way to turn off is to use print preview first and turn headers and footers off which is very time consuming but necessary to avoid the juvenile and unprofessional headers and footers from being printed by default. Better to have such headers and footers to be turned off by default. Otherwise, AOL Gold should be like AOL Online where the e-mail header contains a list of the files attached and only adds…

Please stop with a headline tease that states "the number one (fill in the blank) and then make us scroll through a countdown of the 25 worst to get to number one. It's infuriating.

The font is terrible to read. It varies from light to dark, thick to thin letters.
Can you please improve the printing. I looks like it is from an old typewriter that needs cleaning.
