I can not forward with these type of attachments - 69.9 KB image002.png or image001.png (6.6KB) also winmail.dat (111.4KB)
we should be able to forward anything that we can receive, We pay for AOL and almost no one does that and they have better capabilities on free e-mail accounts such as outlook, gmail, yahoo etc

Latest build of aol desktop gold 3384
I just got the latest build of aol desktop gold and there are things that I don't understand and some things that are still missing.
1) What does compact density mean? I read the text and the feature makes no sense to me at all. Maybe the feature isn't for me?
2) What is a .net 4.8 update? Is that a .net framework 4.8 update?
3) There is still no way to turn off auto updates on aol. I like the fact that I can watch the auto update work and I restart the software when prompted though.

The ability to mark emails with a color.
If I could mark some of my emails with a color, they would be easier to locate and would also remind me about important emails. This color would go all the way across the strip describing the email ( Date, From, Subject ) so it would stand out. Basic colors could be Red for important. Yellow for something to be aware of. Green for a good one. Or you could make up your own color scheme.

when highlighting my email to read the new features to delete, spam
When I am trying to read my email the new features on the highlight email, delete, spam, are causing me to delete my email by accident. This feature does not help, Let the person delete on their own

My inbox is getting more and more COMMERCIAL ADVERTISEMENTS. I pay for AOL service, I do NOT PAY TO HAVE TO DELETE unwanted email.
My idea is for you to NOT keep sending me emails that are ADVERTISEMENTS. i'M SICK TO DEATH of money-grubbing huge multinational corporations trying so desperately to get MORE AND MORE AND MORE MONEY from me, and other people with limited incomes. It's disgusting and you people ought to be ashamed of yourselves. But of course you are not, because MONEY is all that will ever capture your attention.

SPOOF Email
Getting spoof emails saying it's from my email address to my email address about an AOL Calendar reminder that is not showing on my AOL calendar (calendar.aol.com) It started happening last 2019. Collected more than 9000 about this in my specific folder Tried to create a filter so that all emails from this sender will go directly to my specific folder but now i am getting them on the inbox.
I also see emails from the Sent folder which iI did not send. It shows that I sent out emails from Me to Me.

Allow us to continue reading emails when we are printing something
When I need to print something, your AOL software used to allow us to continue opening and reading emails while the document was printing. In one of the updates to AOL Desktop Gold, you removed that capability so now when a document is printing, we can no longer do anything on-line but wait for the document to finish printing. PLEASE put it back the other way so we can multi-task.

AOL desktop gold software on AMD cpu
I have noticed that for some strange reason, the aol desktop gold software runs poorly on my desktop computer that has an AMD cpu.
Upon starting the software for the first time in the day, if any link is clinked, the software appears to freeze for a good 5 minutes before unfreezing itself.
Since this issue is only present on a computer running on an AMD cpu, a hotfix should be applied. My laptop has an intel cpu and the issue isn't present with intel.

Deleted Groups
in address book if you want to delete a contact the delete option gives you the following in this order;
delete contact from address book
delete group
remove contacta few times by mistake i have hit - delete group, this deletes the group with no way to recover it. There should be an option 'are you sure you want to delete group'. If not there should be a method of retrieving the deleted group.
Also 'delete group' should be the last option.These groups and distribution lists take a long time to create and if deleted with no method…
