AOL GOLD has learned how to LIE.
So many of the problems since AOL Dumped 9.8.2., could be resolved in hours. Yet AOL could Not Give One Thought to RESOLVING ANY PROBLEMS. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM ALL THE COMMENTS, Nothing is going to be resolved, till WE LEAVE AOL.

Mouse forward and backword buttons do not work like they did in other versions like 9.7. When will this be fixed? Mouse works fine everywhere except in the Gold Desktop. I have contacted Techs many times before and I am just told it will be reported but it still is not fixed and it has been almost a year now. It is not my computer at fault, it is AOL programming which causes this.

Bring back save folder and open saved folder in the PFC
Used to be able to saved folders from the PFC to the hard drive and used to be able to open saved folders. Now when you right click on a folder in the PFC the options are there to "Save Folder to..." or "Open Saved Folder" but nothing happens. Please get this to work!!!!!

shut down your non-working system, get polite staff and start over
internet explorer has pop ups every 2 minutes and even tho i bought some new package it does not help and your aol helpers say they cant hear me

When 20 people report the same problem, why do you tell them to call a tech??
Is this not evidence that the problem is on YOUR side? This forum offers no help and does not solve problems.

favorite places
try to get into my portfolio thru favorite places and noting happens, spoke to tech support to NO avail. They don't know what they are doing! This aol gold is turning into aol lead!!!!!!

After clicking red X in the browser inside AOL DESKTOP GOLD, it should open a new default browser
a new window is not popping up after clicking the RED X on the browser. Please fix this ASAP

have an option to edit pictures received by right-clicking on the pictures, just in the old version.

Leave mail saved to my PC in New mail
Mail saved to my PC gets moved to Old mail. I delete mail that I save to my PC. With it being moved to Old mail, it requires an extra step to delete it -- move out of New mail, into Old mail and then delete the email. Much more efficient to leave in New mail and deal with it there. If I, on the other hand, want it to go into Old - read - mail, I can decide not to delete and then let it show up in Old mail. Just don't make it automatic.

With the last 4 or 5 beta fixes, nothing was fixed here
With the last 4 or 5 beta fixes, nothing of importance was fixed here. I can't account for anything prior to that as I have only started following this forum in the last 4 or 5 weeks. So the question is, what are these unimportant fixes?? I'm still waiting for, among other things:
Being able to sign in without trying many times.
Being able to use shortcut keys.
New carousel items & smilies.
Not freezing constantly.
Making the news drop the horrendous animal abuse stories.
Making visited links change color in AOL searches.
Making AOL Gold do everything faster. It… -

Email, I can not keep up with my email .I have 8,000+ emails right now
Could you set up a program that outdated email could go immediately into it;One could go back to folder to delete it. Right now it would take me several days to delete the email I do not wish to keep.Could program be set up , Personal verses Business.Thank you for you time when you are able to read my feedback.MamaMary50
