Leave mail saved to my PC in New mail
Mail saved to my PC gets moved to Old mail. I delete mail that I save to my PC. With it being moved to Old mail, it requires an extra step to delete it -- move out of New mail, into Old mail and then delete the email. Much more efficient to leave in New mail and deal with it there. If I, on the other hand, want it to go into Old - read - mail, I can decide not to delete and then let it show up in Old mail. Just don't make it automatic.
