    a few weeks ago deleted emails are still showing as being in the mail box even though the mailbox is empty

  2. CODE: EC-4007

    "the requested message or attachment does not exist. CODE: EC-4007" This is on several emails I attempt to delete. I do not know which ones especially but do get an over abundance of spam mail each day I do not open. I do not know which individual message or messages it is responding to but today I had 300 to delete and to do them one by one is beyond time consuming. I am responding to an old comment on AOL as I do not find a newer one as yet. I have an HP laptop and using Windows11."

  3. Not responding AGAIN AND MORE

    After latest update (August 2025), it took over a minute to open mailbox because I got "not responding". It also took over 30 second to load mail when mailbox opened, and then AOL threw me out and I had to open AOL again. I reported this as a bug but wanted to make sure everyone else saw this too. Do you not test before you release an update? Please fix!!!

  4. WiFi virs Dail-up

    If AOL stops the ORIGINAL Dial-up {SORRY to see it go, after getting use since the BEGINNING!} but will this mean, my AOL GOLD will follow, or can I still use her, till I KICK the BUCKET on WiFi?

  6. ALL my e-mails are now sent to either my Spam Folder or Recently Deleted Mail

    Why does AOL consistently send ALL (and I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE) of my incoming, unread e-mails directly to either my Spam Folder or Recently Deleted Mail? This began on or around January 2025.

  7. If I uninstall AOL and then reinstall it will I lose my favorite places and drafts?

    When I write a new email my font only types and prints in 18 pt. Everyone thinks Im yelling at them. How can I fix this?

  8. need help signing in and having multiple accounts on my sign in

    I am unable to add multiple accounts on my aol desktop gold. It will not save my usernames and I have to sign in each time with my password and it also asks for 2 step verification. I have talked to tech support and they remotely used my computer to fix the problem, but was unable to repair. this. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. can't delete folders in "READ"

    Good Morning,

    I've been trying to delete some folders under "My Mail Folders" .. The error message says either error code EC-4001 or it asks if I want to delete the folder and I say YES but it doesn't delete

  15. New version of gold doesn't work on windows 10

    When the update just happened it enabled admin permissions and windows 8 compatibility mode. You can't change these things or the software doesn't work. Then they tell you when the software opens that it doesn't work correctly with admin permissions enabled.

  17. What is this about? "error: desktop gold was launched with administrator privilege

    I've been on AOL for 26 yrs and I've never seen this msg before today, what does it mean??: Error: Desktop Gold was launched with administrator privileges. Using Desktop Gold with elevated permissions may lead to unexpected behavior and/or a loss of personal data that is saved on this PC. Please close and relaunch the Desktop Gold as a regular user for optimal functionality.

  18. aol is absolutely horrible they seem to do updates and you cant even sign on half the time i am about to cancel what they offer not worth

    aol is absolutely horrible not worth the few dollars i pay monthly i have 3 computers and have constant issues with aol soon i will cancel them

    Virtual assistant tells me

    1. Click the Settings Icon in your AOL Mail.
    2. Under "Inbox Spacing," you can select ....

    But there is no "Inbox Spacing" visible.

    How can we punish the Virtual Assistant? Reduce its voltage ????
