Allow people to change their posting name on the news threads.
I just want to change my name on the news posting threads.
That used to be possible. Why isn't it now?

use foul language or post anything objectionable.In order to change your nickname when you post a comment, please make sure to go on myaccount.aol.com and make sure to click Edit and change to your desired nickname.

Please click on the drop-down arrow next to the company name (from the list of Ad companies), then go to ’More detail about ’, and click on ’Click here to opt out of ’ to manually out out from that one company.

this is a question....i had to type nickname in everytime i bommented on a news story today...i mean every comment on the page...why
Make sure that you are logged into your account when you want to comment to an article. If you are logged in your nickname should appear every time.

Please stop/block Img/sync from poping up all the time or EVER. also Adobe keeps wanting me to update thier player and it is up to date.

Question: i just got a request to verify my netscape account. This request went to spam and requests password. Legitimate?
See subject line. Is a request not marked aol or netscape a real request? Don't want to be locked out of account, but also don't want to be hacked.

Sometimes the old “turn it off and on again” solution actually works! Just quit your web browser, and then start it back up again. Once the browser has been restarted, go to mail.aol.com and enter your username and password.

Confused About @AIM response when AOL Supports reads back email address!
When calling in today for technical support, the auto attendant read back my email address with @AIM.com and NOT AOL.com. Why? This is confusing and causes a suspicion that I'm not on the correct support site. Please advise on a remedy. Thank you.
AOL and AIM.com domains are the same, they are different aliases from which you can send out or receive emails.
