  1. I comment on aol news stories, and they wont get posted1

    When I post a comment on an news article, they are only posted for half a second and then disappear, what can be done? AOL told me to contact you, that you could help.

    We’re sorry for the difficulties encountered while trying to participate in the AOL community. The comments section is located at the bottom of the articles under Conversations. You can view all your posts in your Profile under Latest Activity. To view your Profile, click your Name in the comments section, then choose Profile.

  3. Get the headlines working. Print and pictures are not coordinated; print stays on "1/81" while pictures move on without their own headling.

    Bring the headlines in print and their matching pictures together. Try it yourself. The printed headline does not change as one moves from picture to picture.

    Thank you for contacting us. We are happy to try to help and apologize for the inconvenience. If the local information on your homepage is incorrect (such as the weather report for a different location), please try these two solutions:

    #1. Verify your location. This can be done by making sure your correct City, State is in the top left of your Welcome Screen. If it is not, please click “Update Your Location” under Local News and Weather, enter your Zip Code and press Save. Then try going to Weather.aol.com to see if this information is aligned with our weather source Weather.com.

    #2. Clear cache, cookies, history, and footprints in your browser then repeat the instructions about in #1.

  5. Too much content. Pages don't load. Can't read news stories.

    Not an idea, just a suggestion. I would be more prone to scroll through and read your news stories if the pages would load faster. You have too much content. I am not on dial-up anymore, not using Wi-Fi, rather, I'm directly connected to cable and still, each time I click on a news story, I can't scroll down the page to read it because it simply won't load. In fact, it ties up my computer (page freezes) to the extent that I have completely stopped reading your news feed. Once in a blue moon, I'll try again, and without…

    Hello there,

    We have a solution for you, please try these steps: 1. Go to Internet Options 2. Go to the second tab(“Security”) 3. For the first zone, named “Internet” – press Reset all zones to default level 4. Go to the third zone: “Trusted Sites” and click on “Sites” 5. Type in guce.advertising.com then click on Add and Close 6. Hit Ok and reboot the browser. We also recommend accessing your account on a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)

    When you see incorrect local information (such as the news or weather for a different location) on your Welcome Screen, you may want to verify your location is correct. This can be done by making sure your correct City, State is in the top left of your Welcome Screen.

    If it is not, please click “Update Your Location” under Local News and Weather, enter your Zip Code and press Save.

    If this does not work, please clear your cache, cookies, and history.

    Then try adding in your Zip Code again.

    When I logon to my aol account, I want to go to my email account. I do not need or want to see the news feed. I just want my email.

    Please consider fixing this.I do not want have to click this and click that to access my mail.

    You can easily disable the ‘Today on AOL’ news feed by following the steps below:

    - Click the ‘Options’ menu located in the top right corner of the screen
    - Select ‘Mail Settings’
    - In the ‘General’ tab, uncheck the ‘Show me Today on AOL when signing in’ feature

    This will allow you to go directly to your Inbox when signing in to your email account.

  11. FIX THE COMMENTS SECTION!

    Every time I click the box to type a comment the whole comment section disappears. This has been going on for over a week now. When are you going to fix it?

    Fix aol games. We have been asking for way over a year now and nothing gets done. Some cant get on the games to play and others dont have chat. So many people are going to other game sites. Just fix this like it was before. NOW

  16. Improve customer service!

    In July 2018, we asked for our account to be deleted. We followed the instructions and could not delete account. They said that if we did not go into the account at all, it would be deleted (did not say suspended). Yesterday, we called AOL and asked if the account was deleted and they said no, because we were still getting unwanted e-mails. After 57 minutes on hold and on the phone with Sebastian, there finally was a quick fix that took less than a minute. I kept asking to speak to a supervisor to no avail. This truly was…

  19. Stop profane and racial slurs in the game chat rooms.

    The games are great. However the chat rooms are excessively profane and full of racial slurs Please give warnings to those offending. Especially Just words and Hearts.

    If you are having an issue within a game chat, please review the following guidelines:

    1. Ignore them. People feed off of your reaction. If we ignore them they won’t get the rush they need and they’ll go away.

    2. Use the Flag feature in chat. Hover over the right of the comment where the 3 dots in a line are, then click the flag and submit the report.
