AOL in 2026 should be able to set effective blockers that enable users to do what has been possible with my local Verizon/Outlook mail since 2007: let the user set custom rules about how the junk/spam folder should handle unwanted emails, including permanently deleting them; and not limit blocked senders to one thousand.

Current AOL Email Blocking functionally is totally unable to address the amount of spam, vile, filthy, etc emails being distributed across the internet.

The amount of spam is incrementing exponentially and blocking by full email address is not capable of fully inhibiting vile, filthy, and totally unwanted emails from coming through. I have reached the maximum number of email addresses that can be blocked (1,000). With the exponential number of junk emails being distributed these days, domain level blockage is really needed, or the maximum number of full email addresses must be substantially increased. I am now easily spending 2 or more hours viewing spam emails to delete them and, in many cases, it is from the same domain that multiple emails are sourced.

It seems that way in the past, if an email had something objective in the subject line, it would automatically be blocked Why can't we have a feature like that wit AOL? You folks hate these scammed too. We could all be working together on this and erase them from view.

The X rated spam is out of control. It is primarily sent to the aol.com address and mostly from atlantaoffre.com. I have tried custom filters to no avail. Fix it! Its ludicrous that I have to peruse this **** to see if any legitimate emails were put in spam by mistake.

Provide button to convert any email into the raw email with source code, so if user gets fraudulent phishing mail, the raw email can be forwarded to the requesting company. Converting to raw email is possible but there needs to be a one button way to do it

I'm getting 50+ spam per day. Its ridiculous that AOL haven't got any actual block features for spam. Unless of course they get subsidised. I've been with AOL 30 years. It has got beyond a joke.

During the few days we had no access to our emails using the app, I used AOL web mail and received very little spam. Prior to that, using the app, I received tons of it.
After the update to fix email access, I went back to using the app and once again, I received a lot of spam.
I'm back to using AOL web mail and getting very little spam.
Something is wrong with the app. -

When clients continue to advise of systems errors it's more beneficial to accept the shortcomings and attempt a resolution to solve the software's legitimate fault issues. If your aware of customers who may welcome this type of invitations allow a special button for them, but the majority should not be bombarded by unsolicited business when we did not initiate this type of service

There are way too many spam mail in which I can understand that, but these companies are getting very smart in sending spam mail without sender's name or sender's address. This is very dangerous as these emails can be for phishing to steal identity, scammers and other bad motives.

The spam bombers are just flooding my inbox! Please come up with a way to block a masked sender address. When a sender address is present, it should be displayed without having to actually open it and alert spam/scammers to see that your address is possibly valid and unleash an unbelievable mass of ads and malware.

There is no way to access filters to block spam because there is no”additional” settings under settiings. This is ludicrous.

When adding to spam folder- like gmail give an option to block or you just block spam forever so I don't keep getting it over and over again
