Yellow bar
I still don't like the yellow highlight, but it is much less annoying now that it does not shift everything because it was larger vertically. But there still is one exception - when the yellow highlight overlaps the blue (selected) highlight, the size changes and this is visually annoying and distracting. Simple fix get rid of the yellow bar altogether, but otherwise fix the size issue when on the selected (blue) line.

If a person can't sign-on because he forgot his password, how can you expect him to log-on to let you know there's a problem?
Why not try being user friendly? Phoning a landline would work in my case. But sending am e-mail to an account that you can't log-on to seems like a waste of everyone's time.

Duplicate Names
I have had my aol.com email name since joining in the 1990's. until a few years ago some one else has my same e-address but not password which is of little comfort since I can trace her name, home address, city and state etc on the dark web. This was annoying at first but Im really concerned that my personal information may soon be found. This sounds like a flaw in AOL security. How long do I need to keep complaining? can someone fix this??

Your new price increase!
i have been a AOL member for over 40 years and have seen many increases over that time period. Much of the service I am getting is not worth what you people are going to charge on your new increases. On top of that I am a senior and the way costs are up, I have to make some changes in the money I spend each month I will be looking for another service provider and do away with AOL! You people have priced me out!

I don't need to know that microsoft is ending support for windows 7. Every time I sign on, there is a message saying so. There should be an option to not display this message every time I sign on.
Also I got an email from one of the aol testers that might explain why aol is slow at times, but there is no solution. Some of you might have the same issue that I do. I quote,

Usint AOL gold dwhen needing to print an attachment it takes 4 additional steps to print. using google acess it automatically down loax
Using AOL gold when needing to print an attachment it takes 4 additional steps to print. Using google access to AOL it automatically down loads and then allows me to print. I dont need to save the attachment.
Switching from Gold to Google access is another additional step.
Can you reduce the steps to print an attachment from AOL gold.

MS not support Windows 7.1 and 8.1. So is AOL going to stop on my windows 7 PC? I know that AOL quit on my windows 8 PC
Keep AOL operational on Windows 7 and 8 platforms. I can not migrate to windows 10 because windows 7 and 8 were not complete on their updates.

auto-suggestions
I am told by AOL Help that you cannot edit auto-suggestions on Desktop Gold. That should be fixed. I mistyped an address and it keeps trying to send it to that bad address. I want to delete that auto-suggestion.

aol desktop gold running in background
Almost everytime I start aol, my hard drive light stays solid for a good 20 minutes before turning off. Is aol running something in the background that I'm not aware of?

Read messages in the "New" forlder
LEAVE the New messages that I have read IN my New folder until I switch to a different folder.
In other words, THE WAY IT USED TO BE.

I had an AOL tech in my desktop Gold AOL and all is working normally and he suggests this must be a new feature. This may be true but I cannot believe AOL would do this as it inconveniences the Gold member.
Fix and or return my feature to automatically scroll to the top and newest incoming mail fro me to see.
