just called to cancel my 20+ year paid subscription to AOL due to numerous ongoing problems problems with GOLD being almost totally unusable since Dec. 2017 - they could care less about their customer base - now this post will be closed , merged , reviewed + taken off the forum because AOL does not care or listen at all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been complaining about your lousy Gold product since early this year, asking to bring back 9.8, and you don't do anything about it. Lots of people are complaining about same things! Your foreign techs must be hard to find to fix things. You have an oath to us! I've been with AOL since 1996! Over 20 years!

False Advertising:
I am writing to complain that AOL is engaging in the deceptive practice of sending out emails advertising what they describe as free malware, when in fact it is only a free 30 day trial. Those 30 days go by very fast, then - before you know it - you've got an unwanted charge because you didn't notice to cancel the trial. I am also sending a complaint to the FCC.

Need to tell customer full ramifications
I am furious!!!!!! On July 2 I worked with your tech Algen Albino as my aol screen had frozen. He suggested I install System Mechanic for $4.95 a month which i did and which took a great deal of time. On July 3 I opened my computer and could not get on AOL Gold and my recycle bin had been completely deleted. Today I talked to a tech support Alex and he deleted System Mechanic from my computer, but said I could sign up for something at a cost to try and restore some of my recycle bin. I refuse…

1 - Gold still undependable + not working - can not sign in with out multiple attempts ( internet filled with this complaint - welcome screen does not load -
2 - intrusive , invasive privacy agreement -
3 - AOL , OATH , VERIZON are extremely untrustworthy - customer unfriendly + do not listen to or care about long time paid consumers -

Mailboxes not working for a long time
Clicking in "NEXT" to see the next email does nothing.
Clicking on DELETE and email while it is open does nothing. You have to close each email to delete it... and then open and close each mail to delete that mail.Do not tell me to call a tech. My neighbor has the same issue. And I already clear my browser many times a day.FIX THIS AND EVERYTHING ELSE ALREADY!
