the software keeeps freezing and goes to no replu. call me 1---***

If your browser crashes, please try the following steps to enhance your experience:
a. Edit > Select Footprints to Clear
b. Check the ‘Browser Cache’ box
c. Restart ADG
If the user had not previously checked the ‘Browser Cache’ clear footprint option, it can be restored using these additional steps
d. Edit > Select Footprints to Clear
e. Uncheck the ‘Browser Cache’ box
We would appreciate it if you would send a report of this problem to our AOL Desktop team to have this further investigated. To do that, click on the “Help” button on the top right corner of the AOL Desktop window, and select “Report a Bug” from the drop-down menu.

I am sick of freezing up so often. With eveyr other website I visit I freeze which last for a full minute or two. These are simple lightweight sites with not a lot on them so this problem should not exist. Seems to me it started a few weeks ago. And PLEASE.....Get rid of the Huffington Post and all the ads you have everywhere. People are leaving AOL like bats out of **** and I predict that eventually you won't have a business if you don't make changes very soon. Nothing works. Problems everywhere. More steps than ever to accomplish things.

30 mins of software downloading each time I sign in to AOL Gold is stupid. It takes forever to read mail, delete spam, type in a new mail, because the software downloading freezes my machine. I cant even get my browser to work while the downloading is going on. While I am writing this the software is still going on.. templ a dozen times. Worst IP ever.

Here's a new one. When going back and forth between screen names, often it freezes and takes up to 10 minutes to switch. Now what's going on?

I am getting a lot of 'AOL is not responding'. This freezes my entire session. Sometimes the only way to free it up is to log out of AOL.

Keep up with the typing!!! One has to stop and wait for the text to catch up. Also, cut out the episodes of AOL "not responding" so many times. I have to wait until I get my screen to be active again. The old version was so much better!

While I am reading emails, the screen will go white and AOL Gold will stop responding. I have to restart my computer to get back to what I am doing. I am very frustrated with this happening all the time.

There are so many things that I did easily in the old version that now takes several steps. Also this version hangs up often which is annoying and time consuming. I think I am going to say bye bye AOL.

Ditch this entire TERRIBLE "new and improved" version. It is sluggish, unresponsive, unpredictable, IMPOSSIBLE to use. I have almost entirely switched to a web access, rather than put up with this mess. Deleting is slow and unresponsive, whereas 9.8.2 was really quick. GET RID of this disaster. We all HATE IT!

I spent over an hour online with an AOL tech, who could not fix all the things that I am having trouble with on the AOL GOLD because it is not possible to do with the new version. Printing is a big problem. I try to print geocache pages off geocaching.com and it locks up my computer and will not print. The tech told me that printing is not available. I will have to go out on another browser to do printing. So why am I paying for AOL? We pay $27 per month for AOL service and now it seems we are unable to do everything on the new version that we did on the old. Time to look for something different? We don't have choices on the new version, whether it be icons, sounds, emails. I never had problems in sending pictures in emails until AOL Gold. I wouldn't recommend AOL to anyone now.....

I am having the same problem :(
