I am very frustrated with the new way that the favorites have been arranged and not copied correctly. i can hardly recognize my list of favorite places.
I really hope that you restore it to the original order as reflected in my AOL Desktop 9.8.2 as soon as possible. Hurry!

What's wrong with this new version of yours? I do NOT want my FAVORITE PLACES IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, I WANT THEM IN THE WAY I AM PLACING THEM, THE old way. GIVE THEM BACK TO ME....PLEASE.......PLEASE...................Thank you.

You have rendered the FAVORITES totally useless with the alfa format.

Please put back the favorites like is was.

Don't like the way you have the favorites set up. Put it back to the way it was.

And the net result is....we don't care what you like. We have a zillion users and we don't need you. We do these polls just to make you feel better. No one actually reads them.
Have a great night. -

Just make the favorites as it was before I don't need them to be in alphabet order. I want to move them up or down by copy and move. I want new favorites to go to the bottom. The main screen is one third adds please make shorter or eliminate the adds

Where do I begin.I want to be able to export my Favorites I have saved from my memory stick/key over the way I want them and not your silly arrange them in ABCed fashion. What's up with all of that??I depend upon the Favorites on a daily basics and now I can't use them!! I can't move them the where I want them.I have adapted to all of your silly changes for some 20+ years but this defiantly takes the cake! After all who is using this us or you!! I'm not sure why you did all the changes to this but it's defiantly NOT working. If something doesn't get fixed soon I'm going to be forced to go somewhere else!!

Whoever came up with the idea of placing additions to Favorites alphabetically should be fired. Before, important frequently used sites were placed at the top of the list, less important additions at the bottom. Now everything is dropped into Favorites alphabetically. If I added several new entries I now have to search for them alphabetically as the names assigned to those entries are not always obvious or readily apparent. ALSO, not being able to move an entry from one place to another is a giant leap backward.

Re. your new version Aol Gold. Could you allow us to organize our "Favorites" as we see fit as in your previous version instead of alphabetic order ? it would make more sense and much easier to use Thank you.

I have been with AOL from the very beginning. However I am very seriously thinking of leaving AOL because of the new alphabetical favorites. I am so messed up because I am familiar with where all of my favorites are and now they are virtually scattered everywhere. I am so confused its not even funny. I think if you are an AOL employee, you would recommend installing the old version of the favorites. I am not the only AOL member that feels this strong on the issue. Please consider bringing back the old favorites. I will give you a certain amount of time and then I will be looking for a new server. I must admit that I would hate to leave AOL. The customer support is far superior than most companies. That is why I have stayed with AOL for roughly 20 years now. Thank you very much for allowing me to state my position on the new AOL Gold Favorites and I am not at all happy with the new version. Thanks so much again for considering my opinion. Sincerely, Jim.

WHY WOULD YOU NOT ALLOW US TO SORT OUR FAVORITES BY USE...MAKES NO SENSE TO HAVE TO GO THRU THE ENTIRE LIST EVERY TIME YOU USE A FAVORITE.

Richard Bergman commented
You have to resolve the Favorite list of My Favorites. I HATE THIS NEW , BY ALPHABET LIST ONLY. I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE ANYTHING IS.
It WAS NOT BROKE, SO WHY DID YOU BREAK IT. PLUS THE 9.8.2 WAS GREAT. This New AOL GOLD is TERRIBLE.
If any one in AOL is actually reading this, then send out a email to ALL:AOL PAYING CUSTOMERS, TO UP DATE THEM, WHAT IS GOING ON. Getting the AOL ALERT, came out of Left Field with No Notice. Yet for three weeks, you kept sending a notice about AIM was no longer available as of Dec 15th, 2017. -

I worked many hours to categorize favorites to my liking and needs just to have you arbitrarily alphabetize them.
If I had wanted them that way I would have done done it my own **** self!
This is I am sure just the first of my complaints about your new Gold!
Brown would be more like it!!!!!! -

AOL Gold is a Disgrace. There was NO Notice of the change. This morning I turned on computer, No problem. Then a hour later, got the AOL ALERT, that Old version was no longer. Took 20 minutes to get a AOL TECH. How come there is No system that will allow for AOL to call back, instead of listening to the Lousy music, and being told SORRY FOR DELAY. Now I cannot move My Favorites, favorites to where I want them.WHY?????

It's a proven fact that for every complaint, or for that matter, compliments, there are at least 1000 who believe the same.
It's a shame that no one is listening. I'll pray for you in hopes you will recover from your hearing loss. And, I hope you are working on a copy of 9.8.2 instead of the originals.
PS. If the original 9.8.2 program is for sale, I am interested.

I used the favorites every time I researched something. They were always at my fingertips, on top, in the order I placed them. This allowed me to go back to them even if I accidentally lost my tabs list. And, I wanted to continue using them the next day, or week, or month.
Please allow the option of using 9.8.2, which is the best IP format in history, and deep 6 the GOLD before you lose all your customers.
I don't mind paying the price I'm paying for the GOLD if 9.8.2 is returned. Otherwise, it's adios for me. -

I agree, the alfa Favorites SUCK!
I just opened a free account with Google because it is 10 times better than the AOL Desktop Gold.
However, AOL Desktop 9.8.2 is 5 times better than Google. So, guess what I am going to do?????
