When I complained about the "new" "improved" favorites the answer I got was "Nothing can be done about it." Horse ****. You people designed and implemented it so you can redesign it so it works like it always did. I had mine arranged with the most frequently used on top. I don't remember the exact name for many so I can't use the FIND feature. If it ain't broke.....

I agree about the Favorites. I also can't get the Favorites to go where I want them.
I don't want them on the tool bars top or bottom I want them where they used to go, in My Favorites -

Bring back the features of 9.8 that customers of AOL have been used to. Unable to forward items of interest. Also, not pleased with the alphabetizing things put into the 'favorites' list, rather than keeping them listed according to date of insertion. Continuous pop ups make me just give up and turn it off.

please return my favorites the way I had them. It is not user friendly to me to have to search thru hundreds to find the addy I need (if I forgot a name) I had them grouped before, I want them back that way.

Please do away with alphabetized......it is TERRIBLE. I want them the way I had them. One more reason to consider dropping AOL( after 23 years)

This alphabetized re-do is TERRRIBLE !!! I want them the way I had them !!

adding the search field was great but this forced alpha sorting is not helpful. I want my fav of favorites at the top of my list regardless of alpha!

IF YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE FAVORITE PLACES ON AOL DESKTOP GOLD IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER, THEN YOU SHOULD GIVE ALL MEMBERS THE OPTION TO REMAIN ON AOL DESKTOP 9.8.2, UNLESS YOU DUPLICATE FAVORITES TO AOL DESKTOP GOLD & ALLOW THE ONES THAT WANT TO DRAG THEIR FAVORITE PLACES & ARRANGE THE FAVORITES THE WAY A LOT OF US WANT THEM. OTHERWISE, DO LIKE I SAID & GIVE US THE OPTION TO KEEP USING AOL DESKTOP 9.8.2 !!!!!

Automatically alphabetizing "favorites" does not work. Here's why: Not everybody wants their list in alphabetical order. Even if you move your list's folders around, it continues to alphabetize new favorites and is a waste of users' time to constantly reorganize. Also, if you save an important site as a "favorite", gold it saves by the web address which often starts with an unrelated word like "Contact:.," etc. It as difficult to later locate a favorite by it's obvious name when it has been auto-alphabetically listed by an unknown first word. I beg you to allow users to return to the previous method of saving favorites. i.e. it was saved last on your list and allowed you to move it where ever you wanted in your favorite list. Please?

The new automatic "alphabetizing" of AOL Favorite entries, and the 'inability' to drag/re-position Favorites entries within the list (to more meaningful locations, etc.) makes the 'once great AOL Favorites feature' totally unworkable & unusable. Maybe a "toggle-switch" option(s) here could resolve this situation.

Favorites.Well you are at least listening to us on the Favorites. You reinstalled the "Manage" option at the bottom. But you don't need alphabetizing the Favorites.I want to arrange the Favorites the way I have added to the new ones I have added. Why did you do this??This is not helpful!I have not heard of anyone liking this on here!!
Also would like to move a favorite around the way I want or the way it was before. After all using AOL is for us not you!! All of this "NEW" areas you changed has created a problem for my work!! I depend daily on favorites for my job and now it's screwed up!!

Desktop gold forces you to save a new "favorite" in an alphabetical list. The previous desktop program positioned your newly saved "favorite" last. This enabled you to easily locate it later and/or to "move" it to your preferred favorite file. On the gold program, if you don't happen to remember how the system named that "favorite," you are forced to look through the long alphabetical list of favorites recently saved. This is a huge waste of time! Please enable me to disable the program that immediately alphabetizes favorites! I want them listed last like before. Alphabetizing can be added as an option for those that prefer it, but why force it upon those that don't want it?

Saving favorites in Alphabetic way is not practical at all. Please consider to change it to the old way soon.
