Give us back the 9.8 features in Gold
Bring back desktop themes, stationery and emojis for mail, allow us to set up Favorites like we want them, make icons for toolbar available. Most of the time when I'm typing a e-mail, the type doesn't keep up with me and thus missing letters or words. Give us back all the features of 9.8 because Gold is seriously lacking most everything.

This AOL reply was written back in January, almost 6 months ago.... and there have been no fixes to date despite the promises.

Make signing in easier. When I open the AOL screen my sign in name is there. I click sign on. The next screen comes up with my sign in name. I have to wait while the password screen comes up. After putting in my password, today I waited 33 seconds to get to the new Oath screen. I have already accepted that Oath when it first appeared. Today it took more than one minute for that Oath screen to disappear. So It took me two minutes to get to my email after all was said and done. That is ridiculous. I pay monthly for AOL. I pay monthly for system mechanics. I am getting tired of paying for a service that is working so poorly.

This is true. Browser is extremely slow and freezes often. I Never have this when using other browsers.

This is 2018, I presume most of us either have or are considering a faster 64 bit capable computer when we purchase a new one. However many of us ALREADY have a 64 bit capable unit NOW! Unless you enjoy going backwards, why are you NOT ADDRESSING 64 bit capability????????? What is your time frame for doing so?????? AOL, along with EVERY OTHER BROWSER was free to the user and now we HAVE A GARBAGE PRODUCT and are PAYING FOR the privilege/SNARK!!! Are your people not capable enough to address it!?!?!?!

This is the worst program I have ever paid for. The free aol on any device is much better than this. What idiot or newcomer to IT created this ****. It is slow poorly laid out AND you still try to sell you stuff to me even after charging me for this. I have just been to lazy to dump it but will soon.
Biggest question is does anyone at AOL know how to read...the posts on this gold ****. -

GOLD has deteriorated to the point it is worthless - sign in does not work for multiple attempts + at least 6 minutes time - welcome screen does not load - email is a horror story - site performance slow + erratic - etc. - tech support does nothing - report a bug does nothing - this forum does nothing - problems are built into Gold , your browser , + servers - no positive actions have been taken in over 6 months -

What is going on with this new version? all you get are pop up advertisement to the point you can't read your mail. Let alone that you put all my regular approved mail into the spam and all the spam into my regular mail. Since you've gone with OATH the site is just terrible. Having been with you from the start it's getting to the point where I should leave. I see from other posts that this is a major problem for others as well. Any plans on fixing this? Being a paying customer I would like to have the old AOL back.

BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION. THIS ONE IS AWFUL..I HAVE WASTED MORE TIME TALKING TO USELESS TECHS WHO DO NOTHING BUT PROMISE THAT THE GLITCHES WILL BE FIXED. AND THEY NEVER ARE. IT TAKES FOREVER TO SIGN ON...THE ADDRESS BOOK DOESN'T SYNC NEW ADDRESSES SO I HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL OF MY OLD MAILS TO FIND THEM..OH, AND THOSE ARE ERASED AUTOMATICALLY AFTER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME. ITS AN OUTRAGE TO HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN CHANGED FROM THE OLDER VERSION.

i've been with aol since the beginning. i can't remember a time when i've hated an operating system more than i hate aol gold. who,exactly thought it was a good idea to change what was working into this piece of **** you have now. i'm just going to bring up 2 things. i could do more. your whole mailbox and the ability to move things into my designated folders is like playing a video game. things move around while trying to drag emails into the folders. favorite places. i really hate this one. i used to be able to set it up the way i wanted it. you have taken all that away from me. it won't let me set up folders with ebay bid items chronilogically. i can't tell you how many auctions i've missed because instead of chronilogically it's now alphabetically. it was perfect before. i'm starting to wonder why i'm paying 40 dollars a month for your software when it's not mind to manipulate anymore. who changes things when they were working fine. maybe a company that will no longer be with us soon?
