to product support : planning isnt doing. we were told that 5 months ago. most of us dont want several features, we want them all. it can be done because features are separate from broadband speed. you are losing more and more members. thats a wake up call. the alarm is ringing

Let us pay to go back to the old AOL. AOL was working so good before even on the smart phone, AOL Alto was working good with the AOL calendar.... they change. Can not get your AOL calendar any more on android.

We have been complaining about all these things since Gold was thrust upon us and though we document our issues on here, nothing is moving and nothing is improving. What is going on? There are things like the sign on screen with all our user names and being able to see which usernames have mail and this says it will be done but it does not get done. There are so many others. This is taking way too long and you will lose your customer base. Does anyone care how your customers feel? Really?

I agree that the "gold" brought delays and other problems. Many of us pay for this service. Either fix the problem or give it to us for free like most of the other providers.

I AGREE!! I thought this forced change was going to get better....there ARE no perks!!!
I've paid for 30 years to have multiple addresses, to have stationery and icons and other
goodies to use in sending club correspondence, invitations, newsletters.
Now...it is a struggle to copy & paste...and forwarding? All the lines and text boxes show up.
Emoticons from others show as gibberish.
I don't need a double space every time i hit Enter!!
And having to sign on to every address to check for mail~~how is this an improvement?????

AOL Gold update should be an option like any new AOL in the past.
AOL Gold is Fools Gold
it is terrible, glitchy and slow
and it slows down everything else I am doing on other website
when it is open.

I have an online business and since the AOL Gold launch my biz work has taken 10 times as long to hammer out because everything keeps seizing and freezing.

Agree with everything in the message. AOL sure did ruin a good thing. Hard to believe how bad the program is now. I've been considering leaving after being a member for 20 years and will probably do so soon. They removed all that was good and he many problems are horrendous and are not being fixed. With all their recent fixes not one of my problems has been solved. As far as broadband, I converted to that a year ago but many times it feels like I am on dialup because things are that slow. In part it is the many ads that are slowing things down.

I am extremely annoyed that adding insult to injury I have to pay for this when all other places are perfect and free. We certainly should get our money back.

i am being told by aol that gold is so much better than the old aol. for the life of me, i cant see how. you have removed everything that made aol aol. you took away buddy lists and instant messaging. the fonts are very limited as are the colors for them. tool bars cant be customized because you have stuck us with the cutsie icons. i cannot change my desktop colors ( no, you did not import my settings from my old aol). your news feed is peppered with articles that are months old and repeated articles from the firstf few pages to the rest of the pages, half the time when you click an article you get a flash of a black box. i have been an aol member since aol started. this is the worst version yet. i understand the need to adapt to broadband, although i do not see any improved speed with my aol and broadband in gold. i am sure you have very talented engineers and staff. the upgrades to make aol more suited for broadband could have been done without removing the features aol was famous for. send some of your staff to wireclub. its a huge reunion of former aol members that you have alienated. we arent getting anything for our $4.99. we lost a whole lot more. you need to rethink aol gold and give members back what they signed up for aol in the first place. you would see a lot of members coming back and paying the $4.99.

I don't know why the pages are not loading and everything is very slow, I am really thinking about leaving AOl for good. Too many problems, and this has been going on since the Gold update.

GOLD freezes my Windows 10 laptop when I hit Forward or Send. I am paying for this service and not getting satisfaction. GOLD is terrible. Looking for a new provider.

I believe this is what is causing everything to be so slow and many times unresponsive. Even typing is slow to be registered in emails, etc. It would be great to know what you are doing to correct all the issues that have been mentioned. I have been an AOL user for many years, and this is the worse than it has ever been. I am looking for a better solution.

I am very much a AOL user and I have paid fr AOL as long as I can remember. I still say AOL Gold is the BEST. we have to change , it's just a part of having a Computer. Yes things are Missing, Many things we had in Windows 7 is missing too. But life moves on and AOL is doing their best to keep with Microsoft and Windows 10. They have to to be compatable with Windows 10. We don't use Floppy disc any more, we lost them. In AOL we are going to lose some things, it's just a part of life. Get use to it, or shut up. Complaining is not going to help. We have no choice.

Hire some new I.T. people who can fix the problem. AOL Desktop Gold ****. This has been going on way toooooooooo long !!!! I am running out of patience. I am a paying customer. Until all the problems already cited are fixed, I should be getting free service. I am considering going to my other E-Mail service Comcast.

GO BACK TO 9.8....IT WORKED...GOLD DOES'T!!!! When trying to save a link to send to myself, it won't...WTF???? Along with no choice in real fonts...WTF!!!!! I, along with hundred of others, absolutely HATE Gold...why don't you get it??? Some real morons you all must be!!!

Truly painful experience. Thank goodness I have access to email in other applications, because it takes half an hour just to get one email to open. I delete things three & four times, but they keep coming back. Tons of feedback given, yet not a single response from AOL. Why do I even bother keeping this "service"?
