Suggestions
I see so many suggestions and feedback - are you implementing any of them? - Personally, I need the "headers" back, I would like to have the Icons for the toolbar. The speed of keyboard response is terrible. The response time on screen painting is slow. Again, I mention that this system was not fully tested before dumping it on us poor unsuspecting users. AND we are paying for it. We pay monthly and we pay in the doing things over and over because of the response time,
We’ll send your feedback over to the AOL Gold desktop team, making sure the features you mentioned become a priority and will be added in the future releases. Currently, we don’t have an estimated time frame, but we hope the majority of the features our members are asking for will be implemented soon.

I'd like to be able to view the email header on this scamster so that I could forward it to the appropriate people. noreplay@accountprotection.microsoft.com
I'd love to be able to report the ones claiming to be paypal and apple too. -

How come you quit providing DETAILS for email. I want to check IP addresses for people who email me??
Thanks

You have an option in AOL mail for "View" - Email address or Sender address. Only Email address is activated. I need Sender address also. I belong to a number of Yahoo email groups and I need to know who the individual sending member is *before* I open their emails.

People don't always sign their e-mails and assume that you will know them by their e-mail address. That link helped to see where it came from. OR--instead of only aol screen names being shown after names in my address book, show all address's after their names so that I could just scan my list for that unsigned address.

Return path info is missing from the email. I need this when I report phishing emails to places such as Paypal and Ebay. Please add it back to the emails.

I used to be able to click "Details" in an e-mail and see the full headers. That is gone in AOL Desktop Gold, so it's harder to tell if e-mail is legit. Please bring this feature back.

Bring back the email "details" . It helps identify where phishing and spam email is coming from.

I need the headers returned to the email.I work with the FTC to trace scams. This is a particular vicious scam and I cannot file a complete report with no headers. This is why:
"Thank you for submitting a report to the EarthLink Network Abuse
Department. Unfortunately, the email you forwarded does not contain
the full header information we need to determine its origin." -

I want to be able see email headers again. They were viewable in 9.8 and disappeared with AOL Shield. Why...??
-

The email should have the details function like it did on desktop 9.8 . Then you know the sender is who they claim to be. This is a safety issue. Hackers can fake their sender email address. The detail function lets you see where the email really came from.

I shared this thought with my user ID - why does it show up as "anonymous" - even this feature does not work properly.

Bring back the email headers so that we can verify if an email is legitimately from a company or just one spoofed to look like it's from say, paypal, or ebay, apple without the headers all we're seeing is a company name and just might be more inclined to click the link. Without the headers we can't report the scammers out there...
