i was chatting with a tech a few days ago and told him how much trouble i was having with AOL gold i told him i was having trouble with Failed to load URL https://w.main.welcomescreen.aol.com/ with error ERRCONNECTIONRESET (ConnectionReset). he told me to switch to Chrome. and signed off. very rude my idea is to get rid of jerks like him.

You feature a story, then you have to keep clicking to the next page. Half the time, it freezes and doesn't allow you to continue. Why can't you put it all on one page? Plus you get all kinds of pop-up advertisement, blocking what you are trying to read. Also, sending an email, a lot of times it won't go through, until you go to sign off and try to send it. You AOL Gold leaves a lot to be desired. AOL was a lot better when it was free.

AOL, BRING BACK THE AOL SOFTWARE 9 IT IS 100% FASTER, BETTER AND EASY. YOU CAN NOT FORCE PEOPLE TO BUY SOMETHING THEY DONT LIKE. YES YOU CAN HAVE AVAILABLE THE GOLD ONLY FOR THOSE THE LIKE TO USE IT AND IF NOT TO SWITCH BACK TO AOL 9 EVEN YOU CHARGE A LITTLE TOO BUT NOT THE GOLD, IT SUCKS

I see 81 comments, and building, but see no response from AOL. Just tell us what to do to return to the service we have had in the past and for which we are paying monthly!
If there is a new agreement we must review and sign, just say so! -

I am having the same problem as noted many times below! I have been with aol since 1997, but this might just be the final reason to change as so many of my friends have. I need this fixed NOW as so many others. No error reason given, just a bunch of useless statements.

Http/1.1 Service Unavailable.....This is what I now have for a sign on screen. Your AOL GOLD is turning out to be nothing but a pile of ****. I wished I could go back to a older version. I never had near the problems I have with this aol gold. There are lots of times when you try to sign on it wont let you. The last person on has to go back and sign on their screen name then switch. Why dont you start trying to fix some of these problems ? With what I pay I would expect something to be happy with...Not this ****

I don't like the new AOL Gold, either. I can't have a guest sign in like the old program allowed. Everything seems topsy turby??? Did you say it is improved? I don't think so. Now I can't even access my welcome page. I get My username.aol.com?? I hate it!!
