AOL Desktop not detecting Flash player correctly.
My default browser is Firefox and it is using the most recent version of the Flashplayer plugin. I have to use Firefox because Chrome, and Edge are not HIPPA compliant.

Windows 10 asked if I wanted to uninstall Adobe Flash Player as it would no longer be supported. So I did. AOL software asks if I want to install it.

AOL Gold currently plays files intended for Adobe Flash Player. It may be because AOL contains the Adobe Flash Player. Adobe has announced that it will discontinue support for its Flash Player in January, and that it expects browser providers to accommodate flash files without depending on Adobe. Adobe lists the browsers it knows are being designed to play such flash files: AOL Gold is not on the list. Will my AOL Gold play files intended to play on the extinct Adobe Flash Player in 2021?

Adobe has stopped updating its Flash Player. Continuously telling AOL users that they need to update Adobe Flash Player: (a) Just annoys your customers and (b) is a wasted effort by AOL since Adobe quit supporting the Flash Player. Please stop the pop-up reminders.

Is this due to these other Flash player problems in AOL GOLD? 'Adobe Flash Player is out of date' - - This is the message that I get when trying to play games. This is sudden because I was able to play these games less than 24 hours ago in AOL. I can play these games on Internet Explorer and I have Windows 10 which has the Flash Player pre-installed and updated automatically. If this is another AOL GOLD problem, I am not surprised -- tired of it, but not surprised!!!!!!!!!

iT'S not AN IDEA, IT'S A fact. GOLD iS DISALLOWING Adobe FLASHPLAYER FROM WORKING! I can no longer "sample" songs in Amazon before purchase, so I'm leaving you and going to chrome! I also can't edit my comments on the news site, and the Mail is the worst ever! I should be able to decide when I want an e-mail to be moved...NOT YOU! I'm tired of having to "refresh" everything to see ALL of MY Mail at one time!
