Is AOL/Gold aware that when you open a news article and click on "next" that when you are about 2 from the end....the whole screen goes white and you loose the whole Welcome screen. Therefore you never know how it ends. Also I HATE how an add opens up just as you are clicking on 'Next". If I wasn't paying for AOL/Gold I could understand....But by paying you would think that you could reduce some of the VERY annoying adds

AOL GOLD is without a doubt the worse system AOL has ever devised. By all accounts and comments I am not the only one with this opine. Ever since GOLD we, the members have had to put up with more adverts which are the most annoying. Get rid of this miserable link. And while we are at it get rid of all those incompetent so call service rep's overseas. The most ignorant people with lack of any kind of knowledge making their own policies. Biggest reason AOL members have a disdain in calling. Nothing is accomplished.

Wholeheartedly agreeing with this. I no longer read any of these articles. The first thing I do after I sign on is remove the Welcome page with the biased news and annoying ads!

I agree with everyone here. I pay about 40 dollars total and have been for a long time. It is said you don't listen to the people paying your salary. Never mind even censoring pictures like we are little kids. You cannot show a girl in a **** dress? You make it sound incredible but it is only showbiz.

I have been dealing with AOL for over 20 years . I hate having to go from page to page to read a story. Just put all your adds together and lets us get ride of them. Do you think anyone really cares about you adds. You make a story a book. I hate more then anything. I rather just bypass the story.

I stopped counting at thirty-six (36) PAGES and one-hundred-twelve (112) SENTENCES to get the ONE-WORD simple answer to "Incredible hidden treasure found inside a Buddha statue:.which is gold. We all know that you tease with (often not answered) intriguing titles to so-called stores, so that we will see page after page of advertising, but this one takes the cake! 36 pages and 112 sentences for one word......gold. Your greed for advertising increases day by day!

I have many pet peeve's about the new, "improved" AOL Gold ... but this is my biggest. What I've ended up doing, when I see a story that interests me, is going to google and finding the story elsewhere. 99% of the time it's easy to find. This next button is a joke!!! And I agree about all the ads for paying members, as well. We don't like it!!!!

I pay $11.99 per month for AOL--and I still get ads. I am extremely tired of ads, and figure if I am paying I shouldn't get them. I see I can pay an extra $4.99 per month to get ad free (a rip off!), but then it is only thru the web and not thru AOL desktop. PLEASE GET YOUR PAYING SUBSCRIBERS AD-FREE E-MAIL FROM THE DESKTOP APP FOR NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!

WHY DO YOU PUT STOIRES ON 20 TO 30 PAGES WITH ONE **** SENTENCE PER PAGE??? I DO NOT READ THEM ANYMORE!! ABOUT TO SAY THE **** WITH AOL!!

YEAH YOU'LL MERGE MY COMMENTS WITH OTHERS.. YOU NEVER ADDRESS ANYTHING PERSONALLY. WHY ARE ADS IN EVERY SINGLE BLANK SPACE ON AN EMAIL, WEB PAGE DOWNLOAD BOX, NOTIFICATION BOX, EVERY BIT OF SPACE IS USED BY ADS THAT FLASH AND FLASH AND USE ALL THE RAM MY COMPUTER HAS. YOU HAVE THE BALLS TO ASK FOR MORE MONEY SO MORE ADS CAN BE SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS? THIS PROGRAM IS THE WORST, YET YOU WANT TO CHARGE MORE, PUT MORE ADS ON EVERY BIT OF SPACE AND WE GET NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT ANY OF IT. I AM SO TOTALLY DISSATISFIED WITH AOL I CAN'T THINK STRAIGHT.

AOL news shows too many ads that prevents you from seeing the actual article and articles ads/links do not bring to the correct site.
