    ads overlaying the material I want to read. I just stop reading and go to something else. Too many ads and you charge a fee to use AOL, this is too much to put up with.

    Just trying to read the piece on malls in America dying, I quit reading because of the damned ad where the caption SHOULD have been. Very distracting. Now go ahead and merge this with something else, but don't remedy the situation. AOL is no longer user friendly

    ADS IN THE CHAT ROOMS COVER THE "PEOPLE HERE" LIST. THE ADS STACK ON TOP OF EACH OTHER UNTIL IT COMPLETELY COVERS THE "PEOPLE HERE" LIST. THIS IS A PROBLEMS OF LONG AGO THAT USED TO BE FIXED AND HAS NOW REARED IT'S UGLY HEAD AGAIN.

    How in the **** can I get rid of those damned ads that keep popping out of the screen at me when I am trying to read? I don't know why you folks can;t figure this out, unless you are a bunch of kids who are used to playing video games that jump around constantly. It is not only distracting but also very annoying.

    Is there any way to stop those damned ads on the main page from jumping all the time? Makes for a hellish time trying to read what's on the page.

    chat rooms ...show names of folks who are in the chat room...you used to see that, but now, that information is covered by ads...please fix this problem...folks need to be able to see who are in chat rooms...thanks.

    I do like to read material, but sometimes it just isn't easy to do. I was just trying to read some material, and along the right side an ad kept popping up on the screen. Really distracting. I doubt if whoever makes these things stops to look at what he/she has created. You are sure making things difficult for an old guy. I have written about this before, but it hasn't seemed to have had done any good. Why do I waste my time?

    Eliminate all the ads that pop up and block one from reading the article or news which I am interested in. So many ads and short sentences to click the NEXT PAGE has a discouraging impact. I have stopped reading many articles because of all of this.

    I pay for AOL. Why are there so many ads? There are more now since OATH took over than ever before. I will be looking for another provider when my subscription becomes due.

    When trying to read the news you read 4 - 5 lines then you have to go to another page and it sucks. Sometimes you have to change pages 10-20 times. I am getting ready to move from aol because of this.
