I used to love clicking through 72 pictures with links to click on and read. Now it seems everything you click on, you are required to weed through adds as to carefully not click on them while you just trying to get through the article by hitting the next button....it's so annoying I don't even look at them anymore. Now, i really only using AOL for mail...quite sure I can get mail for a whole lot less than the nearly $20 a month i spend for AOL. Soon to be a non member!

I have stopped opening stories. Too many clicks, and the story often does not match the hype of the headline.

I am sick and tired of having to click on 15 or more screen to rad a story. This is getting really ridiculous! AOL has become the ad network (Ads on line)! I have not watched any of these stories for a long time now. You have added so many ads that I only have about 25% of my screen for viewing in the browser! When are you going to stop pushing these ads on customers? When can I expect to be able to view a full screen again?

Stop all of the ads that keep blocking the news you are reading.

when I close out one of your annoying pop-up ads, it means that I am not interested in the product nor your pop-up ads ... and it doesn't mean that I want to see the same ad pop-up every 15 seconds on every story that I am trying to read for the rest of the day !

Do you or companies who pay you really think I'm going to even look at ads that keep popping up over what I'm trying to read? Stupid and wrong. I have a list of products I will never buy because of idiotic, annoying ads. Won't buy Charmin 'til the day I die from the obnoxious Mr Whipple ads. Yes, they made me remember the product but in a negative way. Stupid.

Since yesterday ads have been showing up on my screen in a language that I do not read. First of all, the ads are a pain and I normally pay no attention to them but now you add insult to injury by posting them in a language that I don't know. What's the point of THAT?

Because the ads cover what you are reading.

On all the news items the garbage ads are so numerous and crammed onto the screen you can not read the article. I suggest AOL modify their screen design to limit the number of ads they cram onto each screen. Or reduce the size and or permit the reader to delete or close the ads.

There is no reason to continuing with AOL as my browser screen keeps shrinking and shrinking. The ads are now taking up 2/3's or more of my screen. What is wrong with you people? Someone must have changed the AOL name to Ads-on-line. You better had change your greed for money or you will pretty soon lose most of your customers and then you will have nothing but ads - full screen!

You speak my own sentiment AND ANGER. It is a total waste of the reader's time to put up with this constant page turning. And noticeably so it has room for all the circling ads. This has ticked me so much I am on the verge of leaving AOL. Had enough! And these pages giving them feedback have no value as AOL DOES NOT ACT ON THEM WHEN MEMBERS TAKE THEIR TIME TO PROVIDE AN ANNOYING APPLICATION AOL NEEDS TO CHANGE. AND REMOVING THE PAGE-2-CURSOR DOWN-FIND THE NEXT BUTTON-WAIT FOR IT TO TURN TO THE NEXT PAGE AND ITS CIRCLE OF NONSENSE.

Your face page has as many as 4 adds and only about 5% of the whole page is news or interesting information. Go back to AOL 9.1

I know that ads help AOL to stay solvent.
I can tolerate the narrow ads that appear on the side, which obscure part of what I am trying to read. . . .IF ....
IF they have the little x that allows me to quickly shut them down so I can continue what I am doing.
I will never ever, EVER, EVER EVER buy anything from an ad that interferes with my activities. I will note that company as one I hate and never have anything to do with their products anywhere.
Did you see the newspaper cartoon where two men were at a restaurant table? One is holding up a piece of paper and saying, "If you get tired of the ads I'm showing, just let me know, and I'll change the ads." That's like the current situation on AOL.

There is nothing more annoying when you are attempting to enjoy an online article or story but to constantly interrupted by a pop up ad or video. This happens on AOL even after clicking the setting to block all pop up. Why is this? Is it the mighty $ dolllar? Why don't you accommodate the customer who is paying the bill????
