One must constantly click off pop up ads just to read AOL news artlcles.
In addition, one must constantly click on the article itself to display the
complete text. Set 1/3rd of the screen for news articles to be unaffected
by pop up ads. Allow the rest of the screen to be used for ads and options to navigate to other information sites. -

I am a long time member of AOL and getting used to the new GOLD system which I am liking. A problem is, when I read articles, I often get pop ups which get in the way of reading an article. It is quite a nuisance and I must send this message to you to do something about it. I appreciate your concern to help me and others who experience this same issue of pop up ads. Thanks!

Prevent intrusion because it's annoying and it's preventing us from getting the information that we are seeking.

I am 82 years old and my eyes are very strained with all the pop-up ads that appear, change instantly, and are of things that have absolutely no interest in my EVER purchasing. Can you PLEASE tell you long time AOL members just how we can stop this from continuing. I am more than willing to change my internet server.

Recently the quantity of ads has slowed down my e mail to the point of some times a minute to open each e mail. Go to MSN and use AOL Mail and it is super fast! Been a AOL subscriber since the beginning but it looks like I am ready to cancel!

By " Clicking Next " on these Childish Serial Articles " you provide much more space for additional adds that none of us read anyway. The new owners took something that wasn't broken and are attempting to fix it. AOL has become the joke of the Internet.

Stop the barrage of ads. The interesting headlines of your articles pull me in to read more. Then chaos, disjointedness, frustration. I haven't been able to finish an article in months because of the ceaseless ads upon ads, clicks upon clicks. It's like running a maze. I lose my way. There are better sources out there; I will stick to those from now on.

Put my comment up also. The ads are getting so dad blamed bad that now all you can do is wait the filthy carp out or close it down. I close them. And now I am finally finding some decent news item on the "E", on "MSN" and yesterday I downloaded but haven't given it an look over, The new "VIASAT" browser.

I truly love AOL Gold, but I cannot enjoy any of the stories list because of the extremely annoying ADS!!!! So I don't read them at all. PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!! PLEASE!!!! Do something about those ADs!!!! I know it pays the bills, but there has got to be another way. I feel like I'm a ******* when I go to read an 2 minute article and it takes me 4 to 6 mins just to get through the Ads. By that time I've lost interest in reading the article and find my information elsewhere. Please fix this issue. Thank you.

I can hardly open email, let alone respond, let alone send, without the screen graying out because AOL has become semi-locked up due to trying to rotate ads. I am a paying member. Why am I seeing ads at all? And worse yet, why are they interfering with my use of email? Man, y'all trashed AOL with this "gold" version. Maybe you can try for platinum, since gold clearly isn't your thing. Sorry to rant, but sheesh ...

Police the choices submitted thru "ad choices". We're paying for AOL now; if you must have ads, get rid of the monthly fee.

AOL, you are destroy my ability to read articles with all the popups that "pop up" right in the middle of what I am trying to read. Absolutely disgusting. They are relentless. I have decided to go to another source. You at AOL are out of control. I am going to say this for about the 4 time. STOP RUNNING ALL THOSE POPUP ADS. I AM DONE WITH IT.

Help me to stop receiving unwanted ads that simply do not go away. I keep requesting a discontinuation of these ads, but they continue to appear.

Another thing is the news articles on animals other than human, the ones where you may have to click more than thirty times to get to the end. Some of these miserable things to read may actually fill an whole page if put down correctly. On these I have all but given up on with the new attack of ads they are trying to force on us. The **** with it, I close it and now I wont open any of them. THE "E" IS LOOKING BETTER. I will be going there very shortly.

I agree with you guy's/gals. This thing they call aol gold is misnamed, it should be aol BROWN. With this new aol I lost hundreds of my contacts. Aol decided to take the order mine were in and change it to alphabetic when I had it in the order of my discovery. They are gone, not to be found Fishing sites I can't find because they are or were in North Carolina, South Carolina, up Ca.s coast to just above SF and down to San Diego. Then all the emails I packed in from Pellet gun handlers, maybe another 125 items gone.
