Features on the screens in the welcome section have too many ads. I understand some ad are necessary, but there are so many that they obscure the text. Seriously, you can't read the text, because some ad is covering it.

Boycot companies that use ads that avoid being removed and cover a major portion of the page. ACE hardware are the latest. AOL has become a page full of ads that load and make reading almost impossible. I am dangerously close to dropping AOL as my browser.

I've been with AOL since it started and have use all the versions . AOL Gold sucks ! Too many ads and with Google Chrome we have no privacy or a way to get rid of it because you force it on us . Maybe it's time to leave AOL ?

I have been a PAYING user of AOL since before AOL was AOL. Now, after all of that time I am looking for a new e-mail service. The New AOL GOLD can be closely compared to that of A CHINESE FIRE DRILL. I pay more that $45 a month and am still bombarded with mindless, unwanted and GROSSLY DISTRACTING endless and irritating commercials.
Then, in all your wisdom (NOT) you took the picture editor out of the desktop E-mail and put all of my text in a squirrely, idiotic 'box.' Then, to compound your stupid actions, you made it impossible to use all of our Windows fonts. G-mail and Yahoo mail are looking mighty good after your technical abortion called AOL DESKTOP GOLD.

This is too much already. Now every so often when I click on the headline for the next news story there is a full screen size ad at the top of the page instead of the article. You have to scroll down quite a bit to get to the article. Are you people crazy? It's not enough that there are ads all over the place?? I will definitelylook into leaving AOL as soon as I decide on a place to go. Enough is enough of this brazen craziness.... not to mention all the other problems.

STOP POP UPS AND UNWANTED ADS. I NEVER BUY FROM ANY ADVERTISER THAT POSTS UNWANTED ADS ON MY COMPUTER. THEY ARE INVASIVE AND INSULTING.

I have never been more aggravated with any on line experience than I am with AOL Gold. Should have been named AOL Baby **** Yellow !
It is misleading. It is designed to make you click on a story that you didn't want to go to. It has more pop up adds than Carter has pills. When you X out an add it pops right back up after your next click. I've clicked on a topic that brings 4 FOUR adds with it. I didn't have to put up with this much B.S. when I was getting AOL for free. Straighten this out or lose subscribers. -
