technical support for aol gold is VERY POOR
i have had a problem on and off since last November ... their answer to me now is to use a different browser ... I have used (and paid for) aol as my browser for over 20 years and this is the technical support I get ... use a different browser ?

Better training of Technical support personnel
I've been paying for 25 years and the support are not very well trained..I have called twice in 24 hours and the neither the technical support person nor her supervisor knew how to solve my problem. The person I talked to 24 hours ago, was able to fix the problem, but then it showed up again today..and Desktop Gold uses so much CPU time that it froze my cursor/ability!

After I reported a bug over and over again I got an AOL email to call tech support. After ten mins with one operator she switched me to another one who wanted me to verify all over again and verify everything I did with her. A waster of time.

Wow! It is hard to believe that any company would say that! AOL stinks in every way. Every one of my friends who were long time users have left because of all the problems and the technical non-help.
