When I want to check the STATUS of an email I've sent, I get an error message saying"Currently Unavaiuilable". WHY?

    Put mail status back. I need to make sure my members have read the new update and now I can't do that.

    Why would you eliminate Check Sent Mail Status? It's a useful tool. Stop taking away the things we liked about AOL!!!

    You have taken the Status feature off the screen for the list of Sent mail. This was very convenient and should be restored!

    Please bring back the mail Status button so we can check if the mail we sent was read or received

    The old aol 9.8.2 had mail status check on the bottom to see if an aol member read the emal you sent. Now the latest Gold desktop got rid of another pretty cool feature. The coolest was the unsend feature that disappeared a long time ago. Aol Mail was the best anywhere, but with time taking features away has almost made it just regular. Why would anyone want to get rid of an advantage over others??? Background art was another great feature not here anymore, or maybe will show up some day.

    Bring back the blasted status bar, First you had it, then you didn't, then you put it back and now it's gone again. Please quit jerking us around.
    You had the ability to put it back a short time ago.... why did you remove it again??????????
    And please DO NOT think I will pay five dollars extra per month for it.
    This is ridiculous.

    Very unhappy that the status icon is gone for sent mail on Gold. It so helpful to track mail sent to elderly mother and other friends.

    I have a "status" tab on my sent mail email account but my wife doesn't. Couldn't get a clear answer from tech support as to why this is. Please bring back that feature to all AOL email accounts. It's a useful tool.

    All of a sudden I can't seem to click on the status tab to see if another AOL member to whom I have sent an email has in fact read my email. Has AOL made yet another change or is this a glitch?

    There should be a "status" button to click on to see if an E-Mail was read or not! Please advise why it was removed after so many years.

    *Status bar in AOL Mail at the bottom which shows the status of the message if it has been received by the receiver.

    Is their a reason that I am no longer able to check the status of mail sent?? It did work but it seems that email swrvice has either been extremely slow or graphics aren't showing!!! Why is AOL running so slow........ what's the problem??

    `2 Also....you may not want to give us back the instant messages but why not our buddy list so we can see if family or friends are online

    I send legal documents - I MUST HAVE THE STATUS ICON TO VERIFY THE MAIL I SENT WAS RECEIVED AND READ - AND TIME - WHAT THE HECK AOL DOING TAKING THIS AWAY!!!! PUT THIS BACK RIGHT AWAY !!!!!! GET THIS SYSTEM FIXED AND STOP MAKING USERS DO YOUR WORK!!!!! YOU MUST PROVIDE A SERVICE THAT IS QUALITY - NOT THE **** YOU HAVE TURNED THIS INTO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    whenever i send emails there is always "ststus" button before sending it , please bring back the button.

    AOL has taken away so many feature that I did not complain about.but the Status feature is very important to me because I need to know if the mail I have sent to members has been read. I really hope the Status feature will not be removed too
