when are you going to stop this stupid suggestions line in the address bar

I wish you would stop trying to improve AOL by making it worse. Now you don't keep brower history, one of the best things. I once could look back at something i had looked at before. Now all you have is a list of things to search for. PLEASE KEEP BROWER HISTORY LISTED AS IT WAS!!!! (AND WHY DO WE STILL HAVE TO TERRIBE YELLOW-ORANGE ON EMAIL?

Please remove the browser history completely.

I HATE what you have done with the suggestions and auto fill in the Internet search bar. WHY did you do this? If I try to type anything at normal speed, it misspells words by leaving two to five letters out because auto fill is attempting to keep up. If you simply type in google.com very slowly, it will take you to a google search from the past. I have NO interest in your "suggestions" and they are a pain in the butt. How about leaving an old version available before my wife and I cancel this ridiculous so called "upgrade?" Since 1996, this is the STUPIDEST thing AOL has done. It is NOT user friendly. I beta test programs myself and this should have been axed long ago.

AOL has added this without users knowledge or approval and it is annoying.

A default AOL Search bar with suggestions not wanted has been added without my knowledge or approval. Eliminate it as a default.

I need to have the automatic search suggestions turned off. I do not need to have my typing interrupted while I am typing an address.

my address bar types information incorrectly. Did some troubleshooting with different AOL technical representatives, uninstalled ADG and installed it backedup the file on my desktop and renamed the AolDesktopData but it's still the same. It won't type whatever websites I want to type.

I can't even get to Google.com in the Internet search bar without this new version sending me to baseball scores that I looked at earlier today and then leaving Google all together to some other website. My wife is having the same problem. Get rid of this latest update AOL! It's totally useless and stupid. I Beta tested computer programs for the state and even the state wouldn't allow anything this disruptive to be implemented.

The above pertains to the internet address search bar. It's to the point that I may cancel my subscription...which I've had since 1996.
-
David Grix commented
Get rid of the new auto-fill search feature. It makes attempting to navigate nearly impossible. It even causes the computer to miss letters typed in or even completely leave out search words.

I have had DELL computer company work on this and they advise me to contact AOL. I have called AOL several times in the last few days...but no one seems to listen to the problem! The technicians tell me to submit information to AOL. This is the most stupid thing that AOL has ever done in the over 20 years that I have used it. I can't believe that I have to pay for a service that is so weak and inefficient!!! Please make it where we can clear the browser again, PLEASE!!!!
