Here is how you clear the footprints in AOL Desktop Gold:

1. In the top menu bar, click the Settings icon Image of the Settings icon.
2. Click Browser on the left menu.
3. Click the Security tab at the top of the window.
4. Select the data you’d like to clear.
5. Click Clear Footprints.

    I can't clear my browsing history, I emptied the browser history manually but it's still showing on the drop down arrow from the address bar.

    Please stop browser auto fill on the search bar and suggestions as well. These new features make searching almost impossible and very inconvenient!!!!!!

    I DO NOT WANT ANY SUGGESTED SEARCH ITEMS IN MY BROWSER HISTORY. IF I DID NOT SEARCH FOR STUFF - DO NOT PUT SEARCH SUGGESTIONS IN MY BROWSER HISTORY. IT IS MY BROWSER HISTORY - NOT YOURS!!!!

    You guys need to update settings, and give us an option to turn off search recommendation because i don't like having the search recommendation on my address bar, tech support and me already run through on the settings there is no option to turn off please find a fix for this ASAP!!

    Remove the unwanted browsing "suggestions." If AOL does updates, give the customers option to decide WHICH updates the want.

    The search bar in ADG is providing popular searches that can not be removed. Please provide an option to remove these.
