The best way to resolve this is to mark the emails as “Spam”, that way you can train the spam filter to better identify unwanted emails in the future. You can also block specific senders by going to the Mail menu on the top left, and selecting “Block Unwanted Mail” from the drop-down menu, then adding the senders emails address in the Sender Filter’s block list.

    When we had the full SPAM controls, I used to be able to block out sexually explicit SPAM from my email AND my SPAM box. That worked well. Now I have a spammer who keeps changing their email address and sending this unwanted, and immoral, spam. I have no other option than to keep blocking their email address when before I could just block them by entering a phrase. I need the other SPAM controls back also. This new company and new software is a joke because so many things are being taken away from us users.

    One spam source is driving me crazy. their address begins with contacts@ and then adds ridiculously long after @. For example:
    contacts@crooned.dnoitcetorp.com. It uses this ending for a group of ads. When I list it under spam control, it shifts to another set of ridiculous ending. Can't you arrange to block all emails starting with contacts@? This would prevent them from sending ads with altered addresses.

    The old spam control was a bit better than, the current spam control.
    if you could somehow bring it back or at least part of it with the spam control.

    Why can't AOL fix this? Has been happening since Aug. 2018...we are getting fed up with this and will drive us to quit AOL

    We need better spam controls that block mail before it even gets to our mailbox. The mail in the spam folder has grown exponentially and we have to check spam to insure valid emails are not there. We need an easy way to report spam so it does not make it to us. Otherwise, why am I paying for AOL. In looking at the comments, tis seems to be a priority to your customers.

    Be able to block an e-mail address from also going to the spam folder. Either thru an edit program or a button on the e-mail program when the e-mail comes thru for the first time

    I get nearly half of my daily SPAM delivered to my INBOX instead of the SPAM box.

    Those "SPAM" Email ID's are NOT in my Address book, yet get placed in my inbox, when they SHOULD be sent to SPAM.

    This has been happening since I complained about ALL SPAM going to the INBOX some many releases ago.

    I live in the UK and for the past few months I have been getting as many as 60 USA Spam messages er day. Mainly coming from <newsletter@mondoproduction.com>. When I enter this into the "Block" box it makes no difference, the **** keeps on appearing!

    SilverOakGrease PLEASE STOP THE huge SPAMMING ASSAULT from them! They are sending AOL Members HUGE AMOUNTS OF SPAM BOTH IN SPAM FOLDER AND REGULAR EMAIL ACCOUNT. PLEASE STOP THE FROM USING US.

    Its out of control. A Spam company called Silveroakgrease based in the UK is now 50% of my Email inbox and 99% of my Spam folder, sometimes over 50 emails a day. AOL GOLD is now just overloaded with Spam. Can AOL Block them on your end? Because AOL removed the 'Block Specific words in Email" function from the "Block unwanted Mail" function in the AOL GOLD program, which was removed.
